Our server Kelly was friendly but I wish she would talk a little less and focus a little more. She forgot menus and proceeded to ask what we want. She takes my coke for a refill just to never bring it to the table. As she brought my side bacon it was sliding from the plate and she fixed it WITH HER BARE FINGERS!! She also made a order mistake with the table next to us.

Came here for a pickup order I placed online. The order said it would be ready 15 min after I placed it. Upon arriving after the order should have been ready, there was maybe 5 people eating inside, and they said they were too busy to have our pickup order ready. We were told to wait 5 additional minutes. We waited much longer. What is the point of a place ahead order if this is the case? Then our order was incorrect and they had to remake it. We were here for over 30 minutes - for a place ahead order that should have been ready and was made incorrectly. Don’t come here unless you’re prepared to wait forever

Absolutely hands down the best Waffle House! My waitress Tiffany was totally awesome and very respectful. She was also very attentive. Tiffany was also fast and was on top of her job! May God Bless this whole Waffle House! I love you all!!!

I want to honor Mama Sharon for her incredible service yesterday! I got there about 5pm and suddenly 4 or 5 tables of other people arrived at the same time. I expected a long wait!?. To my surprise, Mama Sharon was there taking orders, getting drinks & whatever we needed. She seemed relaxed, was friendly with all, yet fast and efficient. She even had to do some cooking! The service she gave was as great as if I was the only customer there! Great food, very timely, fast & friendly service and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere among all the people eating there. This was my first ever visit to the Chestnut Mtn WH and meeting Mama Sharon. I was blown away by her skills, friendliness & high quality of service. I hope Mama Sharon is highly valued by WH for being a Top Notch employee! M. Stickel

We haven't been here in months and we come in and sit down and when we go to order are told if we take something home we will have to pay a 20% take out fee. My fiance doesn't eat a lot so he gets a sandwich and hash and a waffle and by the time he eats the waffle and hash he is full and takes the sandwich to go so it isn't wasted. But for someone to have a poor attitude and tell him he would have to pay a to go fee if he didn't eat it is by far the stupidest thing i have ever heard of. We won't be back they need to look into the girl they have early in the morning and bring back the last one because they traded a sweetheart for a rude and lazy girl that rather sit then attend to guest

Came in this evening to get some late night food about 10pm and was greeted by my waiter Heidi as soon as I came in the door, super cheerful and sweet. Was more than happy to take my order. As I was waiting on my food Randy and I hit it off, super nice guy made my food to perfection.Grits which are so easy to mess up where perfect not Burnt, just right overall experience this evening with these two 10 out of ten!
