The decor of this place is simple to ordinary but what it lacks in aesthetic, it makes up in service and taste of the food. I visited this place with my friend from out of state and it was our first time there. Though we got there late and she was about to close for the day, the lady was still nice and gave us good service. She dined in and the taste of the food was really good and felt like home cooked. If you are in the Jonesboro vicinity and craving Nigerian food, stop by Boniks.

Service was horrible!!!!!! I went in to order my food and the lady was very rude. She was in her phone the whole time scrolling through social media while I’m asking her questions about the menu. I had to repeat myself a few times because she was on her phone not even paying attention to me. She literally had her face in her phone the whole time. I never even got the chance to order any food. I had to walk out. I will never come back here again.

Came in to try some African food for the first time and couldn't help but notice the restaurant smelled like poop. I didnt judge even thoigh i should have. So I kindly asked what the smell was, and this lady yelled she dont smell anything but if you look at the reviews several others confirm this restaurant has a foul odor.

Nasty restaurant with a nasty attitude . The place honestly smelled like feces when I entered the stinky establishment. I'm not sure if their having plumbing problems or what but that type of bacteria in the air cant be good for preparing food. As soon as I entered I was hit with a foul stench so bad I almost became nauseous from breathing it in. The place was cold and empty. I waited by the front counter for about 4-5 minutes to a very rude women with drawn on eyebrows . With no greeting she snarkly snapped at me, what you want! When I told her Im here to pick up an order she repeatedly asked me what, several times every time I spoke to seemingly bother me because I was very clear and standing directly in front of her. After repeating myself a forth time she snarled Im not serving you anything until you go back outside and park properly. I was shocked that she was more concerned with my parking in her completely empty parking lot, than giving me the food that she was paid for. In disbelief I asked was the food even ready she snarled back again, Im not giving you nothing until you go back outside and park properly. Again the parking lot was completely empty and I was blocking no cars or entrances in anyway. Once I realized this woman was clearly not only an extremely hateful person but crazy too.. I told her Ill save her the trouble and ill just leave and cancelled my friends order. The positive reviews are suspicious I honestly wouldn't trust it.

I had a very disappointing experience. When I arrived and parked in front of the restaurant, the owner approached me and demanded I park across the street instead. I was coming in to quickly pick up an DoorDash order but she became visibly upset. She told me “I’m not going to make your order until you move your car, and even if the order was made I still wouldn’t give it to you.” After she said that, I stood there in so much disbelief because why do you think it is okay to talk to me in such manner over my parked car that I was willing to move. The attitude and rudeness that came with her comment was uncalled for!

After I moved my car and came back in, I noticed the owner went to the back and spent time on her phone instead of preparing the DoorDash order. It was clear she was intentionally delaying my order because of the parking situation. I even rung the bell because of how long she was intentionally standing there on her phone to avoid making the order. There were other customers who came in waiting while she wanted to be petty and unprofessional!!

This is not how you treat paying customers, and it's certainly not how you run a business. If the owner prioritizes personal grudges over providing service, then she has no business being in this position. This level of unprofessionalism was shocking. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

I work at DoorDash and I had to pick up an order at this restaurant. The app asked me for confirmation of the order with the receipt. When I asked for the receipt, the woman in front treated me rudely and told me that she was not going to deliver the order because I was going to steal it. I showed her the app so she could see that I was not lying, and she still treated me very disrespectfully.

Wow! Best Nigerian Restaurant I know in Altanta. Her food is always fresh, tasty and delicious. I recommend

After glancing positive reviews of 4+ stars I visited this restaurant today--anxious to try Jollof rice. The experience was an utter and disastrous disappointment. Jollof rice was scorched--saturated with that old familiar burnt aroma throughout. Chose beef to accompany it--which was old, dry, and tuff--like a dog's leather chew stick.
I can't imagine the lady attending the restaurant being other than the proprietor of the business, otherwise she'd have been long fired. I can hardly remember encountering anyone with such a stank attitude serving in a people oriented business like a restaurant. She was spiteful, malicious, and just plain old mean spirited. Must not care about repeat customers. After perusing some of the obscure but numerous negative reviews about both the food quality, lack of restaurant cleanliness, and this lady's nasty disposition, I am hoping not to end up with food poisoning. The source and truthfulness of all those positive reviews is downright suspicious. Beware!

My daughter and I wanted some African food. So we googled this one and gave it a try. I usually just stick to the chicken or fish dishes but they were out and the lady at the urged us to try the beef. We got the vegetable soup (spinach) with just beef and some pounded yam. The food was awesome! I was very skeptical to we just got that and shared it. I’ll definitely be back!!! The dish was delicious even tho it was as spicier than I usually like it. But I pushed throu the spice!!! lol, seriously!! Spice level was a 10 for my taste. I’ll be back this week. Yum (a little less spice please) like a 7.5 max on the spice would be nice ;)

This is by far the best African restaurant I have been to in my 3 years in the U.S. I have visited over 15 different African restaurants and the food here beats it all.

I had Efo riro and poundo to Dine in while I had Jollof rice, plantain and meat as take away.

This would be my new spot anytime I visit ATL
