Boniks African Cuisine - Nigerian Restaurant

I can’t express how happy I am to happy to have found this African restaurant — it truly cured my homesickness from Sierra Leone. The moment I took my first bite of the egusi and fufu, I felt like I was back home. The flavors were rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious — everything was cooked to perfection.

My wife and friend joined me, and they had the jollof rice with beef and plantains. They couldn’t stop talking about how fragrant and flavorful the food was. Every dish tasted authentic and made with love.

The lady who served us was so hospitable and sweet — her warm smile and kindness made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon, and I highly recommend anyone craving genuine African flavors to give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

NOPE!!! Absolutely the worst experience trying African cuisine. Everything taste like burnt except the Fufu. She didn't give me a choice of meat, just gave me whatever she wanted me to have. I'm extremely disappointed but it won't stop me from finding a better place. My stomach is turning from the food I did ingest. $35 wasted.

THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! It was my first time trying this plate because I had seen it on social media before and it did not disappoint! Just be careful when eating because there is some fish bones in there but other than that the food was delicious!

I went there today October 11th 2025 with my African American wife.As an African myself wanted us to share some African food and have good time but the lady at the counter really gave us hard time , and was very annoyed anytime my wife wanted to know about the food ( I am not negerian and that was our first time at that place ). We ended up taking two jollof rice and fried banana (over $50) ,because that was the only we both had before and know about.It was really embarrassing for us. That’s the worst service have ever had , it was really nasty.

The worst customer service I have ever received in my life. She was so nasty towards me just because I was not familiar with any African dishes. I was really excited to try their food but I don’t understand why the lady was so nasty towards me when I just asked a few questions. She also asked if I was American because I didn’t know the dishes and I said yes and she said even Americans know these dishes. I can’t help that I didn’t know. I also was too tired and hungry to even argue or anything so she was just acting like that on her own. Also there is no way all these positive reviews are real. No part of her was kind at all.
