“Romantic atmosphere, great for family”

“Now! Before I give you my full review, allow me to say, I LOVE BARBEQUE!!!!! During my friend's day we decided to try a new restaurant. Upon executing a search on Yelp we decided to try out Ray’s. Ray’s sits in a huge strip mall. When you pull in the restaurant is to the far right hand side. Don’t do what I did and go to the left. LoL! Walking up to Ray’s you realize it is hugeeeee. There are two entrances. One brings you into the dining side and one brings you to the order area. Regardless of which door you walk in it’s all connected… As I got to the register, the man in front of me told the cashier “let me get my usual!” This was a great sign for me as it shows that he is a repeat customer. To say I was excited is an understatement. LoL! Taking a moment to take in the menu and the assortment of options I decided on the Ribs Dinner with One Side. After placing our order we took a seat, not before taking pictures with the Ray’s sign so I could let everyone know I was here. LoL!!!! The wait wasn’t too long as before I knew it the waitress called my name and was bringing the order to the table. Looking at the plate I was pleased with the presentation and serving size. I asked for my sauce on the side as I like to see how the ribs taste without sauce first. The Ribs: Moist. Meaty. Well seasoned. Perfectly made. Good quality. Very filling. Overall 10/10. The Sauce: (I ordered the Mild) Flavorful. Not “bottled.” Thick. Perfect hint of sweet to pair with the natural salt of the pork. Overall 10/10. The Yams: The yams weren’t bad. You could taste the “canned” flavor, however, you could also taste the added flavorings that are presented to give the taste of homemade. Overall 6/10. My experience at Ray’s was absolutely enjoyable. The ribs alone provide for a flavor filled, stomach pleasing experience that makes you want to come back. **Oh yeah, I didn’t get to try the mini sweet potato pie, however, it was calling my name. I’ll be getting it next time. HaHa!!”

“My husband and I visited here on my birthday, 11/29/22 and it was still the amazing food I remembered from years ago. People come for lunch from nearby businesses and also from the military post. Back in the day (80's & 90's) when the Ft. Mac & Gillum were fully open, the solidiers frequented more than anybody!”

“This place is a true gem especially if you like wings. When I went out didn't take me long at all to get my food. The wings were so crunchy and delicious, couldn't get enough of it. Mac and cheese was delicious as well.... Wish the Mac and cheese portion was a little bigger that's my only tiny complaint also wish it was open more often. Other than that I'd spend a good deal of my little money here.”

“I know that wings are not that hard to make a hit but they definitely are hit out the park at Kim's kitchen and wing. Now this place was kind of tucked out of the way off of Jonesboro road in Forest Park Georgia but I happened to see it while riding by one day and I said I need to check that out. Well as I was going to get my medium hot wings but I've been craving for the past few days I was trying to find places that were open cuz this is the day after Christmas. Luckily after being disappointed by a few closed shops I was able to ride by and see the open sign and said it's time to check them out. When I walked in I was greeted with a very enthusiastic good morning and was assisted by the gentleman behind the counter I'm not sure if that was Kim but if it is, I can tell he's very friendly. I proceeded to order my order which I had ordered a 12 wing combo which came with fries and a drink and a Philly steak sandwich by itself. I really didn't know what I was in store for because the shop does look kind of humble. There were two other patrons there he enthusiastically gave them their food when it came up and I was like this is really a good sign of great customer service I know I'm in for a treat. I sat there and waited it took about 10 minutes and boom I was presented with a beautiful container of hot wings and french fries and of course a Philly cheese steak sandwich that was in foil. I put a little seasoning salt on the fries and I snapped a quick picture so that I can show you what the offering was when I make this review. So I got to my destination afterwards and I'll proceeded to tear into the wings they were of course medium hot wings and boy did they not disappoint. The wings were fantastic everything that I was looking for to bring back that feeling of medium hot wings in my belly. I was also very delighted with the Philly steak sandwich cuz it was very fresh and delicious. And let's not forget about the fries cuz they were hot out to grease so they were very hot but very delicious and I truly enjoyed every morsel of this delectable plate from Kim's kitchen and wing. So if you're ever in Forest Park riding down Jonesboro road tucked away off to the side of the BP gas station which is at the corner of Thurman road and Jonesboro road duck around there and check out and of course order something from Kim's kitchen and wing. Thank y'all so much for providing such delicious food and best believe I will be back maybe sooner than you think maybe I'll see one of you there who read this review and you can find out how great their food really is and the price is very nice as well. The wings were $12.99 you get 12 wings french fries a dipping cup I had ranch this time and a drink. The Philly steak by itself was $6.99 so for just just over $20 with tax you're going to eat like a god or goddess. I appreciate the fact that this wing shop was open and I'm definitely recommending them to everyone I know from here on out.”

“The experience was more than I expected. My daughter whose in the Navy and stationed oversees came to visit but was leaving on Saturday so I wanted to spend a Friday night with her before she left. Well I was very pleased with the food and the atmosphere. Initially when we arrived I was ready to go to another spot due to it was dead but little did I know we were early. Our waitress I can’t remember her name was the bomb, I give this spot an 11 out of 10.”

“I’ve gotten almost everything on their menu and it’s all been great! Wings are crispy af ? I used to live in the area but not anymore. Wanted to go this weekend possibly but it looks like they’re closed temporarily? I hope they reopen. ?”

“I went to the gas station late while traveling and that area gave me the creeps, but I wanted to try the food anyway and it was really good. I got the shrimp fajitas and it had so many shrimp and lots of onion and bell pepper it was totally worth the money. My kids tacos came with rice and beans and those were really good too.”

“The food is amazing. Everything I've tried is excellent, but you have to get the quesabirrias. The consome that goes with it is to die for. Very friendly owners and quick service. And all the sides you would want radishes, cucumbers, limes and three types of salsa for your liking. Like some other reviews say the quesabirrias are a little greasy, but it is well worth the sacrifice for the outstanding flavor. ?”

“On October 21, 2023 I went to El Rio Grande. The food was delicious. The margarita ? was great. My bill came to $23.78, and that seemed reasonable for what I ordered. I paid my bill with my card and I wrote a zero with a line in it and asked the cashier to give me change for a $20 bill I handed her. She gave me my money and I gave her a $10 CASH tip. On today, October 26, 2023 I get my finalized transaction amount, and it went from $23.78 to $47.48. The statement said with tip included. Why was a tip included (unauthorized mind you) and I gave her cash? So I get off work today and come to the restaurant and it is closed when it is suppose to be open. ?Wow...I will definitely be back Friday!!”

“Omg....my son and I ordered Chastity's dessert cups in different flavors 2 per person and 1 of her NEW flavors. They were SOOOO DELICIOUS ? & MOIST!!!! We had agreed to share the new flavor with each other but now after we ate our own and I let my husband try one of mine..... it is an all out war for the LAST CUP! All I can say is make sure when you order, you order enough for the WHOLE HOUSE because they are AMAZING in all flavors!!!”

“It was my first time trying pho, so I was very skeptical because I didn’t know what to expect. I decided to order the beef pho with three different types of beef. I can’t remember exactly what they were because the lady recommended it to me and, it was delicious. The wait time wasn’t that bad for me because I ordered and picked it up late but I did order two lemonades and that took five extra minutes so that will be the only downside about my visit not having the lemonade readily available for purchase. Other than that everything was fine and delicious minus the cilantro. I ate it so fast I didn’t get to take pictures lol.”

“I love this place been eating here for years the owner is amazing he is there almost everyday and he helps serve tables and clean up as well he cares about his customers and there service while they are eating at his restaurant definitely family oriented wings are great and the sauce they use is just the right spice I always order extra sauce to dip my fry’s in it’s amazing and they definitely will Always have my family’s business as long as there open

“The enchiladas potosinas were pretty good dish loved it. Although in some places they give a piece of steak with it. For the price you can't beat it. I would not mind pay extra for the steak.”
