“The experience was more than I expected. My daughter whose in the Navy and stationed oversees came to visit but was leaving on Saturday so I wanted to spend a Friday night with her before she left. Well I was very pleased with the food and the atmosphere. Initially when we arrived I was ready to go to another spot due to it was dead but little did I know we were early. Our waitress I can’t remember her name was the bomb, I give this spot an 11 out of 10.“

“We were originally headed to another restaurant but decided to stop here instead—and we’re so glad we did! The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The young man who took care of us did an amazing job and made the experience even better.“

“Dissapointed in Big Kahuna dog. No creole mustard, no pickled onions, the "housemade slaw" was shredded cabbage, the cherry pepper relish was pickle relish out of a jar. When I mentioned it to the girl at the counter after I received it , she said we are out of most of the ingredients on the menu and they stopped putting creole mustard on it because people said it was too spicy. Lol. Total lack of communication between the kitchen and the counter staff. We all have to 86/sub items, But you should tell the customer what he's getting so his expectations are not dashed. I know it's just a hot dog and I ate it because I was hungry and the actual hot dog was good, but they didn't get anything close to what it should have been.“

“Arrival: Woke up craving beignets & mimosas on 3/12/23 so a quick google search & I stopped here for brunch on my way out of Atlanta. Dead end drinks on a dead end street ? Lol love it. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. I sat at the bar first but then decided that I wanted to write so I asked to move to somewhere with a bit more space and they were happy to accommodate me. I sat upstairs and the view was just what I needed. (Very comfortable chairs as well!) The Food: Mimosa .. 10/10 Side hash with peppers & onions .. 10/10 Seasoned well and the veggies taste fresh and were cooked perfectly. I will get extra onions & peppers next time though. Side of Turkey bacon .. 10/10 Beignets .. 8/10 Though I wasn’t expecting an authentic taste, it did have more of a donut flavor. Wasn’t bad though! Overall experience: Wonderful! Affordable menu. Nice staff. Cool atmosphere. Can’t wait to return when I visit the city again. I’ll definitely be stopping back by to sit upstairs in my now favorite writing spot & for a cocktail or two. “My husband and I was looking for some place new to go for dinner and i found this place on the internet. We had never heard of it and it was close to our home so we decided to check it out. The set up is nice. I believe there are 3 or 4 dinning rooms. The staff was really nice and very attentive. We didnt make any reservations which they do prefer but they sat us still without a wait. The drinks were really good and they did not hold out on the amount of alcohol. Now the dinner. OMG Dinner was off the chain. I tip my hat off to the chef. I had the Honey Glaze Salmon and my husband is vegan so he had The Smoked spinach Asparagus Mashed potatoes and Brocolini. When I tell you this had to be the best food with so much flavor. We were more then pleased. The only complaint we have is the music got really loud. If couldnt hear each other even if you are sitting right next o each other. But other then that I will definitely return and I must say I am adding this to my list of best restaurants in Atlanta.“

“My fellow traveler and I stopped by on our way home to Virginia. It was a long day of travel, delayed flights, we just wanted to sit down and chill. We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) Tarvis, thank you for making two weary travelers leave your restaurant with pep in their step Keep on shining your light. “My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. But very intentional and intricate details that made the visit to Restaurant356 so memorable. Service was great! “This is a local spot. I went here with my homegirl. It is in like downtown east point and it was recommended by some coworkers. Obviously its an upstairs bar that over looks an alley but it was still pretty cool. When you walk in the first thing that hits you is the smell the whole place just smells old almost moldy. Depending how sensitive you are to smell it can be an issue. For me I could enjoy the food or anything else because it just bothered me so much. There is a balcony outside but everyone out there was smoking cigarettes and cigars so that wasn't my scene. Besides that the bar looks really cool. There were lots of games and arcades in there. The bar tender was super cool. I didn't eat anything so I can't speak on the food. If your into hippy bars with an 80's feel you'll love this place. It's not for everyone but I could see a lot of people liking it.“
