The cake tasting is awesome and her cake studio is more like a mini cake museum. However, getting the actual cake is another thing! Par excellence! I am a connoisseur of good cake, but Cakes by La'Meeka are not good, they are GREAT! Ms. La'Meeka made by groom's cake, and she made it to my exact requests and specifications. I had a two-tier groom's cake with the flavors of Key Lime Cake with cream cheese buttercream frosting and a Butter Almond Cake with chocolate buttercream frosting, both were D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!! I cannot thank Cakes by La'Meeka enough for what she did to make my groom's cake! You'd be making a poor decision not to utilize this baker, please know that me and my family will be back for EVERYTHING!!! Thank you La'Meeka!!!

Let me start off by saying . I discovered this bakery on the van in the photo in a Walmart parking lot . I’m always looking forward to trying new cakes for my birthday . This place is located in Forest Park, GA . Her cakes to be made are appointment only. So do call in advance . I ordered a 1/4 sheet cake . It cost me about $75.00 . Which is standard starting price nowadays . I really enjoyed meeting Ms.Lameeka. She’s very friendly , she explained her business very well . I was very grateful she took the time to complete my cake . The flavor is is delicious . The icing is light . And the cake is heavy in weight not texture . So I definitely got my moneys worth .?. I definitely recommend this bakery and I will be returning ‼️‼️

My husband and I selected Cakes by La'Meeka for our 1st anniversary cakes. Not only was La'Meeka a pleasure to work with, the cakes were beautiful and delicious. Our family still talks about them.

Let me say this...2 years ago when we got married I was planning a destination wedding in Atlanta from New Jersey. When I tell you I hunted La'Meeka down to do our cake, I hunted her DOWN LOL! I just had to have her as our cake baker. I had heard about La'Meeka all the way in New Jersey. Long story short, she agreed to do our wedding at the location we were having it and I was beyond thrilled. She did not disappoint! OMG. Our cake is still the talk of the town. Early December 2021 I told La'Meeka we would be in town and asked if we could have our top tier baked for our Christmas visit to Atlanta. Due to COVID last year we were unable to make it to Georgia and weren't thinking of cake at that time. I thought La'Meeka would be like, um your anniversary was a year ago lol. When I tell you her response was so welcoming!! She basically was like, YEAH!!! Besides her cake, her spirit and energy is positive, high vibrational and everything!! La'Meeka was simply amazing. From the time we sat down with her to do the tasting - we knew we wanted her services. La'Meeka brought my vision to life. La'Meeka came highly recommend from the venue in which the services were to be held. The cake was beautiful and tasty.

Where do I begin? From the beginning I had a great experience with Cakes by La’Meeka. Her assistant Debbie was great at responding and setting up a cake tasting for my wedding in 2019. When we came to her studio I was amazed by all her cakes around the wall. Her work is beautiful! To make it even better, the cakes taste even better than its looks. My mother, grandmother, husband and myself ate every bit of the cake at the tasting. It was hard to even pick our favorite flavors. Fast forward to the wedding my cake arrived before time and it was everything I imagined and hoped for. Everyone was asking me where did I get this cake. Here we are almost two years later and La’Meeka still has the BEST cake I have ever eaten. Publix, Costco and any other bakery doesn’t stand a chance against her. If you want a cake that looks great and tastes great you better book her for your wedding or special event. Trust me, you will thank me later!

Awesome!!! I'm so happy and excited to be going back to Lameeka. I designed a cake for my son's 2020 graduation. With COVID and all going on, she helped make that day very special. Of course we did a drive by graduation, but the cake was so awesome!! It was moist, the fondant was great, and the rice crispy tires were very good. Thank you and I'm looking forward to going back this time for an anniversary cake. The price was great! Give her a go; you will not be disappointed.
