Excellent food. I had to give 4 stars because last time I ordered, the chicken was beginning to spoil. It really turned me off the place after that.

I had Shrimp & Grits. It was DELICIOUS. My husband had Chicken & Waffles. He said the waffles were a little hard. Chicken was good. We were going to eat there but no inside dining, only patio. Too many flies.

It was just that DAMN good!!! My only suggestion is to have the grits and eggs were pre-seasoned. The staff were very sweet answered all of my inquiries well. Happy I came by!!

I went by there today for lunch, no cars, no one inside. It was around 1pm. I did try and call before I went up there to place a to go order. Silly me thought they were just busy. It is Wednesday they are supposed to be open according to the webpage. My calendar says its Wednesday, so that verified that. I was looking forward to trying something new.

First time visit and last. I ordered salmon croquettes and they were horrible every cook knows to remove the bones from the salmon before cooking but I found several bones and the taste wasn’t there too fishy tasteless taste more like Mackerel fish. The Grits were tasteless and warm. If I could give a negative zero I would.

The presentation of the food is great. I ordered the shrimp and grits, great portioning but the “secret sauce” was not flavorful at all & it wasn’t seasoned at all but they may have just been my taste buds. For someone new to the establishment I wasn’t even directed to a menu. There was no QR code or direction in which I would be able to see what was offered so that was a turn off. The cashier was pleasant so I will say that. All and all it was “okay” to me I’ll say. I wasn’t wowed but maybe I can give it another chance with another menu item and go from there.

The food was good but they could package it better. The grits come in a to-go box instead of a bowl with a top & my condiments & napkins was wet from condensation & the grits. EXTREMELY long wait, I tried not to get upset because there was only 1 person working. But considering that I waited so long & didn't have an attitude, I was expecting a "sorry for your wait, hope you enjoy, have a good day" something! But I didn't receive any of those. Smh
Trash! I ordered the chicken and pancakes (i sub pancakes instead of waffles) it came with eggs and i added a side of Turkey sausage . Fist of all the chicken was a chicken cutlet. I open my box thinking i was getting whole wings, or a drum, or even a Normal chicken breast! Nah it was a chicken cutlet ☠️ The pancakes was just so dense and thick for no reason and they also didn’t give butter. The Turkey sausage tastes like plastic ? 10/10 wouldn’t recommend

What a diamond to find this in Forest Park! Their vegetable omelet is so fresh the flavors just explode in your mouth. The coffee is extremely good quality and they even have french vanilla creamer! WOW! LOVE THIS PLACE!

OMG i just ordered Steak,Eggs & Potatoes….eggs & potatoes were fine,but the steak was like chewing on a leather belt, worst ever,not once but twice this happened.if I could give a - 5 it would be that…if ur over 25 be prepared for this steak to sit in your colon for at least 30 days…And it was medium well,they don’t know how to cook STEAKS…. Stay away ????????
