I've passed by this place so many times and told myself I'd stop by one day. Last Sunday I did and it was excellent! Food was great, service was great and I got to see the Dallas Cowboys lose on the TV hanging on the wall as I ate!
I don’t know the cooks; but for the seasoned food and the great tasting Banana Pudding it was heaven. Now for the cashier, she always has a superb attitude with a smile and good short conversation. Now the line servers were not my old ones who knew how to laugh and interact with the customers while the line was long to make it feel a little like home. Being rushed as you are making a decision is unprofessional and rude. Bring back the past servers and enjoy the overall experience...
This is my favorite down home restaurant!! Good soul food like you would cook at home. It's always busy especially on Sunday after church. There's always a variety of foods. They give a good portion of food for the money. Prices are low compared to other Soul Food Restaurants. Closed on Monday's.
