“I’m so impressed by this place I have to leave a review. As a native from LA, where we have the most authentic delicious Mexican food, this place ABSOLUTELY CHECKS THE BOX.
The carne asada tacos were my favorite. Even the tortillas have flavor. We got chicken, asada, al pastor torta and they were all so good. But the asada will make you place a second order. I’m pregnant and this made my day lol. The Cashier/ Server a young man was also so cool/ bilingual, patient definitely topped it off to a great experience. 10/10“

“I went to the gas station late while traveling and that area gave me the creeps, but I wanted to try the food anyway and it was really good. I got the shrimp fajitas and it had so many shrimp and lots of onion and bell pepper it was totally worth the money. My kids tacos came with rice and beans and those were really good too.“

“On October 21, 2023 I went to El Rio Grande. The food was delicious. The margarita ? was great. My bill came to $23.78, and that seemed reasonable for what I ordered. I paid my bill with my card and I wrote a zero with a line in it and asked the cashier to give me change for a $20 bill I handed her. She gave me my money and I gave her a $10 CASH tip. On today, October 26, 2023 I get my finalized transaction amount, and it went from $23.78 to $47.48. The statement said with tip included. Why was a tip included (unauthorized mind you) and I gave her cash? So I get off work today and come to the restaurant and it is closed when it is suppose to be open. ?Wow...I will definitely be back Friday!!“

“The food is amazing. Everything I've tried is excellent, but you have to get the quesabirrias. The consome that goes with it is to die for. Very friendly owners and quick service. And all the sides you would want radishes, cucumbers, limes and three types of salsa for your liking. Like some other reviews say the quesabirrias are a little greasy, but it is well worth the sacrifice for the outstanding flavor. ?“

“This is a very good place if you're looking for something fast but still crave Mexican delicacies. Although the food is good, they seem to be getting really stingy with their meat. Adding more vegetables, making their flautas smaller, ECT.“

“Hidden gem right off hwy. Great service and food was fresh and hot. Flavor and thru have a condiment bar with salsas and toppings. Affordable prices. It’s attached to gas station so not much parking. Dinning area small and can hold about 30 ppl.“
