Haven't been there since change of ownership though.

Wanted to love it but god the owner is a scam artist. Ordered around 30 bucks worth of food after looking at the prices on the menu. The dude told us in the end it would cost around 50 dollars, basically pulling a number out of his hat to charge us. Extremely unfortunate as I really wanted to love this place but it seems he charges based on person and not a set menu price.

Nam Oy is a small family run Laotian restaurant with a big taste. If you wanted story - that's all there is to it. But let's talk about the food here: Man. Yo. Wow. ....Okay bad joke, sorry. But seriously the food + prices here are amazing. A simple menu with just a few things, if you want to sample the most of them the Papa's Special is $10 and comes with some amazing Lao sausage that I wish I had a freezer full of, and some of the tastiest wings that have ever graced my tongue. The owner is super nice and this place is completely worth it.

My husband wanted something Thai and instructed me to drive here which is obviously not a Thai resto.. lol.. So i just read the reviews and ordered the Papa's special, chicken curd and chicken wings and my, the servings are like for 4-6 people. The sticky rice was just "meh", but i like the presentation. It's my first time eating "laos" food and it wasn't bad. It was actually pretty good, though a bit spicy. The owner kept selling us his resto, he's funny and said he will retire soon. Nwei, there's some slot machines in the back, the restrooms are clean too.

Genuine Laotian cuisine! Enjoyed all the dishes there but my fav is Beef Larb. The spicy papaya salad is super refreshing and delicious too!

He makes the best fried wings in town. Also has the best price for sugar cane drink. Owner is very kind. I live close by and didn’t know about this place until a friend told me about it. I’m glad she did, because I’m now a regular here.
