One of the better spots in forest Park.
Definitely needed some gravy for the turkey wings but they were very tender.
Candy Yams was my favorite 😍

Everything was seasoned perfectly, every bite was full of flavor! My order was ready exactly when they said it would be, and the receptionist was patient, friendly, and very helpful throughout the whole process. Excellent service and delicious food. I’ll definitely be back!

First time customer. Nice service. Ordered mac n cheese, potato salad, cornbread and BBQ chicken (sandwich).

I was pleased with the flavor of everything. The BBQ chicken would've been 5 stars if it were hot. The chicken was lukewarm.

The potato salad was good. The cornbread was yummy and the Mac n cheese was good.

We were visiting from out of town and chose this place because of its readings. And we were not let down. I had a two meat platter with two pieces of lighting and three pieces of ribs, mac & cheese, and string beans, and it came with a drink. Food was delicious the ribs magnificentvery meaty and soon as you give it a tuck meatballs, right off the bone fish was nice and crunchy season well would recommend and would go again.

My sister and I visited Atlanta a couple of weeks ago and wanted to indulge in comfort food and Ray’s definitely hit the spot! Their Fried Whiting might be the best I have had. Aside from their tasty food, the owner was a true example of Southern Hospitality and deserves nothing but good to come his way! Thank you 🙏🏻

Rays Southern Foods is delicious. The food was hot and fresh, and the wait was not long at all. The owners son is personable, and the staff displayed quality customer service. Customer service experience is absolutely 100% amazing food is also amazing. My kids loved it rib. Tips were very juicy. Mac & cheese was cooked to perfection canned yams taste amazing this place is a 10 out of 10 they do not play.

"BABY" if you haven't tried Mr. Rays delicious Southern foods and Amazing customer service, his super nice son, Daniel AND the Restaurant with nice lighting, contemporary lights, everything is clean as a whistle..just Impeccable! ( Don't let the Plaza fool you, because Rays is tucked in the corner...a hidden gem!!

SO far I have tried the rib tips, ribs, turkey wings and the salmon chowder (Yes! I said salmon!❤️💯)and Anthony has had the meat loaf in brown gravy, smoked sausage and fried crispy pork chops! All seasoned well and yes,challenging your granny in the kitchen taste ..lol!

BTW, don't sleep on Rays punch, the sweet potato pie and those dang "addiction" cookies! In addition their is seating and TVs 📺 too!

I just hope he understands his cooking is a threat to my weight loss goals 😂🤣 But that's why pickleball/ staying active is essential!!
