Birria here is not authentic. If you know, you know. Meat wasn't tender, tasted like it was cooked separate from the sauce. Took forever to get someone to get our order taken because apparently our waitress wasn't notified we were her table. I can tell it's veered for a certain demographic like most mexican resturants are.
The food was not bad for the most part. My wife had a margarita that she said was too sweet and ended up not finishing. She had the taco salad which was soup-like at the bottom. Her comment was that it tasted good but was texturally odd. I had the Taco Carbon with chicken. The chicken was excellent but the corn tortillas had so much fat that I ate just one and picked the chicken out of the second. In fact the place seemed to use so much fat that the floor was slippery on...

The service could use some improvement. Our waiter would rather sit back by the drinks and chips and play on his phone rather than provide refills. When he did go to other tables, he walked past us 4 times and didn't stop. Bad part is that I had my cup sitting on the edge of the table so he could notice it.
The atmosphere is very unique....
