The taste of the food was really great and the employees were kind. The portion sizes were a little small and I was shocked at the Price. For something equivalent to Panera, it would be significantly cheaper to go to Panera. Will not be returning due to cost.

Really disappointed in this location. I've been here quite a few times and have had great service in the past. I went in with a friend to grab a bite to eat, and my husband wanted me to grab him something to go. I've ordered a dine in and takeout meal on the same ticket before at this location and have had no issues in the past. However, this evening I attempted to make an order that also had a takeout and was told that they could not do that. The cashier told me they would have to bring it out like a dine-in meal and that she could give me a box to box it up myself. I've worked in customer service for 10 years, so I try not to be a bother because I know what it's like being behind the register. So I didn't try to argue with her. The cashier never brought me the boxes as she said she would, and I never even really saw her again. I had to ask another girl behind the counter if I could have a box. My husband's meal sat on a plate next to me while I ate dinner with my friend. The whole situation was very odd and avoidable had they just packaged it as a to go order.

Your Fort Oglethorpe store needs to be improved better. The people that works there does not know how to serve people and the place makes you feel like they’re closing at 8 o’clock mopping the floor in front of the door where you gotta walk out and the food was it presented. Like a $40 meal that’s what I paid had no cracker for the soup sweet tea was not sweet

This location is SO MUCH BETTER than the Gunbarrel location!!! Gunbarrel’s sandwiches and spuds don’t have near the ingredients on them!!! I told my husband I bet these 2 locations have different owners so I looked it up and yep they do!! Kudos to the owner of the Ft. Oglethorpe McAlister’s!!! So much better!!

Ordered a club asked for no honey mustard or spring mix and for it to be on white bread has to take it back to counter because they didn’t make it the way I asked then was brought the remake and guess what it’s on the wrong bread so now my spud is getting cold and needless to say I’m not happy at all we spent $27.00 on our meals for me to have to literally wait to eat because they didn’t make my food correct and the attitude once they was told it was wrong again was uncalled for completely not sure I’ll come back to this location.

You would think if they gave you the total wrong order and had to drive all the way back to the store there would be an apology, something..First time here and last time!

I have been here 7 times in the last 5 months and every single time I go they don’t have potatoes. When I have gone at lunch time they state they do not serve potatoes at lunch time and only dinner. I have been to many other McAlisters where this is not the standard. I went today at dinner at they stated they did not have any potatoes because they were not prepped. When over 1/3 of the menu is potatoes you should have potatoes. The service was good and the workers were kind about the situation. I understand it’s not their fault and they did everything right. The place is clean and the food is tasty. I would probably give it 4 stars if I wasn’t so frustrated with my experience with the potatoes every time I come. Management seriously needs to address this issue.

We have ate at McAlister‘s deli for years. We would eat at the one in Chattanooga before the one opened in Fort Oglethorpe. The one in Chattanooga is definitely way better. Even though the one in Fort Oglethorpe is closer to where we live.
My husband went by there today and got a bowl of broccoli cheese soup to go. The soup was runny, hardly any broccoli in it, and big clumps of brown mush was in it. The bowl was less than 3/4 full. We’ve had other problems in the past that I won’t go into.
I called and the manager did offer to give me a free bowl of soup. I told him we wouldn’t be back that way anytime soon and declined his offer. We will definitely be driving a little further to go to the Chattanooga McAllister’s.

Three of us ate here tonight. Two of us ordered the vegi potatoes - both dishes had rotten broccoli with obvious brown parts. The other ordered a sandwich, which was good; however, the dill pickle spear on his plate was also very obviously rotten.
