The staff is kind and welcoming. I had a problem with my coffee not being fixed the way I like it and I addressed it and now they always fix it right. Their food is pretty good. Best avocado toast I've ever had

BEST EGG BITES!
If you like a hearty, cheesy, bacony egg bite, this one's for you! Actually an order is 2. And...if you like a little greens with breakfast as I do, these egg bites have a bit of greens stuffed in too.
I also enjoy their golden latte and flourless brownie from time to time. Last but not least, I appreciate the very customer-oriented service.

Super yummy! I'm in Chattanooga/Ringgold for work this week and am only eating local restaurants. I got a Chai Latte with vanilla and the Avocado Toast. So yummy!

I tried this place for the first time a couple of weekends ago and OH MY STARS 🤩😍😍😍
I wish they had a location in Dalton, Ga. I ordered their Keto Bowl, a cinnamon roll, and an iced latte. The food was cooked fresh and so so good! Their cinnamon rolls are AMAZING!!!! As far as their coffee products are concerned, those national chain coffee places CANNOT hold a flame to Mean Mug's coffee. They sell their brand of coffee beans and they make for a great cup of coffee at home. The folks are always friendly and welcoming!!! This will definitely be my go to place when I'm in Fort Oglethorpe!!!!! 20/10 HIGHLY recommend!!!!

The first time I went here, I got coffee and food to go. The drink was amazing, the food was delicious. It took a while to prepare, but was totally worth it. The second time I went to my friends, and I dined in and I really wish we hadn’t. They have the industrial chic thing going on with really horrible acoustics and loud music. All of us were overstimulated and had headaches within about 20 minutes. One of my friends actually left to go decompress in a quiet thrift store while the rest of us finished our food. The food and drinks were still really good, but I don’t recommend dining in.
Mean Mug is the best! The staff is always super friendly and makes you feel right at home every time you walk in. I’m completely obsessed with their iced spiced banana brown sugar latte, it’s the perfect mix of sweet, delicious, and refreshing. If you haven’t been, you’re seriously missing out. Great coffee, great people, great vibes all around.

Food is ok. My iced chai tea was basically milk and had no flavor to it. Prices are a little high considering the food and quality. I might return, but there are plenty of other coffee shops with similar offerings.

I placed a mobile order for a work lunch on 5/23/2025 and had an awful experience. I visit Mean Mug often and have never had any issues but today was beyond disappointing. I went through the drive through to get my mobile order and there was one car ahead of me in line and one car behind me. I waited for about twenty minutes of nothing moving and the employees not even being in eye sight of the window before I had enough. I ended up getting out of my car and standing in between the car in the front and the window to see what was going on. Keep in mind this is not a drive through that you can get out of if you are in between cars. I even had to wait for anyone to come to the window while I was standing there. While I was waiting, I started talking to the car in the front and they were just as upset as I was. They said that all they ordered was a bagel and they had no clue what the hold up was. A blonde employee finally opened the window and she seriously lacked customer service skills. She was rude and kept shutting the window in my face while I was talking. I told her that I needed to know how much longer because I had to get back to work and she said maybe five more minutes. I told her that I could not be trapped there anymore and needed an exact time and she shut the window in my face. A few minutes later, the car in front of me finally got their bagel and I pulled up to get my food. The lady was giving me a nasty look and did not say thank you or sorry for the wait ONCE. I am beyond disgusted with the service. If you are going to trap multiple people in a drive through where they cannot get out then you need to go car to car and explain the hold up or offer a solution to exit the line. I would appreciate if a manager could reach out to me to explain what will be done to fix this situation.
This has been a common lunch spot for our work team but after today's experience we will not be returning.

My husband and I accidentally came across Mean Mug while looking for a different nearby business. We grabbed coffees through the drivethru and they were delicious!! Super quick and nice service too. We live in South GA and wish we had one near us!

Delicious coffee, tea, and pastries! Breakfast menu looks wonderful, but unfortunately, I was too full to try it. Service was excellent, store was very clean, and atmosphere was very relaxed. Lila and Heavenly (baristas) were so friendly and kind. Highly recommend.
