I’m here at the restaurant now and it says they open at 10:30 but 10:46 they’re not open. They play music for employees, not customers. Bad taste in music. Also, their drinks are 350 each pretty steep for a restaurant like this. Their food is good and that’s why I keep coming back. I don’t know what’s going on today with them not opening. Called and the phone number that was listed To go to an individuals phone.

So sad that this location has gone downhill. I've gone back 4 times and keep hoping for the best, only to get the worst. The fish has been so greasy that I had to sop it up w napkins. The hushpuppies were like concrete balls, and the fries were inedible. This was each time I went. Unfortunately, I also had the same employee at the window. I don't know her name but she had extremely long braids that were just hanging, with no netting or even pulled back. She also acts like everything is a burden, like asking for tarter sauce! Lol Closing the to-go containers was also seemingly a burden. The management has changed, as I used to drive from Flowery branch. Now I live in Gainesville, and will drive to Flowery Branch/ Oakwood

I went to the drive-thru at 6:46 p.m. I ordered a two piece fish meal with french fries and okra. I paid $10.57 for my order. When I looked inside at my order, it was not a pleasant thing. The two pieces of fish were burnt. It looked like they didn't clean their fryer. Also, the fish, hush puppies and the okra was greasy. There were hardly any chips with this meal. If I had time, I would have taken it back. I have eaten at Captain D's for a long time and this was the first time an order was this disgusting! Come on Captain D's! A customer deserves more than that type of service!

They lie on doordash about business name for sales because they have terrible reviews and want to upcharge you when it’s alleged their fish makes you sick . Also I have coworkers that say the place is absolutely filthy . They like to lie and claim “we’re catfish kitchen” and even make the mistake during phone calls of referencing themselves as captain D’s and double back on the facade. Attempted to downsell me on tilapia with catfish prices and didn’t want to admit it’s captain D’s when I caught them stating it.

Food was beyond unsatisfying I love Captain D’s but this place here no thank you fries hard, dry taste nasty as if they where just sitting for hours and the hush puppies just so dry had me wanting to just drink water and let me say the fish eww never again just a waist of my money wish I could get my money back. Definitely not coming back.
