The quality of the food was good- and the service excellent. Good spicy salsa. Chorizo cheese dip was a bit greasy which made the mixture very liquid and the taco salad was the smallest salad I’ve ever seen for > $10. Fajitas (mixed) had smaller pieces of meat but very flavorful. Spicy margarita was definitely spicy! Overall not bad-

delicious! perfect spot for a late night dinner with my bestie. we both ordered the seafood enchiladas with cheese dip and the guacamole mexicano to start! everything was prepared perfectly !! also ordered a mangonada which i highly recommend

I think the Mexican food here is really good and it’s very convenient to where I live at the Spring Valley Apartments. The drinks are good too and I’ve had a margarita there before. Good service and atmosphere.

We have passed this restaurant in a strip mall on Thompson Bridge and would say we need to check it out. Finally did last night and we were glad we did. The food and drinks were a step above most Mexican restaurants in our area. Presentation was on point as well. Margaritas were made with 100% Agave tequila which does make a difference. Exceptional service was the cherry on the top. Glad we finally stopped in and we will be back! You should try it, you will not be dissappointed.

Our friends come here once a week and they brought us along. I ordered the Pollo poblano. Wow! It was as very flavorful. I was not a fan of the bean soup that came with it, hense, not 5 stars

My husband and I moved to gainesville 3 years ago. We passed by catrinas several times a week. So the first of June we stopped in to try it. Not a good first impression. I got burritos. One chicken, it was ok, one beef, the beef had no flavor. I ate the chicken one but couldn't make myself finish the beef one. For my husband he had chili Colorado. He said the sauce was good but the meat was full of grissel. Couldn't chew most of it. We asked to see the manager, and he reduced the price of my husband's, should have written it off totally. Well, we tried it and probably won't go back. There are Mexican restaurants on every corner. Sorry, but wasn't good.

We were looking for GOOD Mexican food. We found it here. The tamales are good and taste like a tamale should. Really good chips and salsa, too. Most places we've had tacos that were tasteless, but these are excellent. It's hard to find food that pleases my 92 year old Dad because none of it has any taste, but Catrinas has become his favorite place to go.

Nothing special here. Was excited by the good reviews, but you can see in the pic, the nachos were quite lackluster. I did ask for no beans, but apparently that left them almost blank. I will say the salsa was quite good, but the overall experience was pretty meh.
Very good food and service in a clean restaurant. The menu is expansive but my friend and I wanted vegitarian options that weren't listed. The server and restaurant were able to substitute veggies in place of meat and we loved it! The margaritas are great also. I will come here again for sure.

Food was delicious! Very fresh. Loved the salsa. It was so good my picky eater kids wanted to go back the next day. And we would have if we hadn't left. Highly recommend. Waitress and wait staff was very nice and attentive as well.

I came to Gainesville for my son’s MSU(Michigan State University) triathlon event. I heard that Georgia has excellent Mexican food, and after researching several restaurants in the area, I chose Catrinas!! I was not disappointed!! My service was wonderful, the margaritas were perfect and the food was amazing!! Additionally, the restaurant was very comfortable!! I hope to return someday!
