Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

This was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had. We have been coming to this restaurant for years, which made this experience even more disappointing. From the moment we were seated, the table did not appear to be properly wiped and felt sticky. From the moment we sat down, there were excessive delays and almost no follow-up from our server. Drinks took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive, and after waiting a long time for our appetizer, we eventually had to flag down a food runner to ask about it. Only then was it brought out.
Throughout the meal, no one checked on us, and I had to get up multiple times just to ask for basic things like condiments, refills, and assistance. We were left sitting for 30+ minutes at a time without any communication or updates.
At the end of the meal, we were once again left waiting over 15 minutes just to receive the check. The entire experience felt disorganized and careless, with no sense of urgency or accountability. Poor service like this completely overshadowed everything else and made the visit extremely frustrating.

have bee coming here for years and tonight my wife and I was seated at one he'll of a Sticky table it wasn't that clean then we get our food and it was cold and I order a grilled chicken wrap with the broccoli casserole a mm d when I told the severe she said ok took the the broccoli casserole back was not offered a new one just nothing and it was still on the bill so most likely not going to eat there again with sick my family loves going hopefully something changes soon

I had dinner and spent 2 hours and almost 30 minutes there. I’m sure the waitress is a great person but my steak was undercooked twice after asking for it well done which I think she might’ve accidentally put medium well, which I couldn’t have because I’m pregnant, the manager or the cook came to the table and apologized on behalf which was very appreciated but when we got the check I was still charged for an Extra steak which I had to inform her that we shouldn’t be charged that. She charged the other people at our table each other’s orders instead. It could’ve been busy somewhere else but 2 hours and 30 minutes felt very excessive especially when our table wasn’t being attended to very much.

The food here is awesome!! The drinks are delicious too! My favorite is the painkiller!! They limit you to 2. I understand why, I had jello legs walking out of there! The portions are enough to have for lunch/dinner the next day. Their homemade croissants with the honey butter drizzle, yummy! 😋 You must try this place! We went to two different locations and the food is consistent.

This is a great restaurant! I've been 3 times and now am confident this is a normal experience here! The food is wonderful, the staff is genuinely so nice, and the prices are amazing!! Lunch, dinner - they're equally amazing!

I want to start by saying that my family and I truly love Cheddar’s. Your food is always delicious, and we order the bundle meals to-go at least once a month—sometimes more. Unfortunately, the only reason we don’t order even more often is because of the ongoing issues I experience when placing to-go orders inside the restaurant.

Almost every time I come in, it’s difficult to get help at the bar/to-go area to place my order. Today was no different. Even though the bar area was not busy, the waitress was talking about personal matters with a coworker and completely ignored me. This has happened multiple times to the point where I’ve had to wait 10 minutes or more and then look for a manager to assist me.

I want to be clear: the managers have always been extremely kind and helpful. My concern is with the to-go service and the expectation of tipping. Last time, I left the bar waitress a $5 tip for a $43 to-go order—just for handing me the food from the kitchen to the bar. I feel that is more than fair. Unfortunately, because I didn’t leave a higher tip, she seemed to ignore me today, which was very disappointing.

As a customer on a budget, it is discouraging to feel pressured to tip heavily for a to-go order, especially when the service provided is minimal. I truly believe Cheddar’s could benefit greatly from creating a separate, dedicated system for to-go orders so customers don’t feel obligated to leave large tips simply to receive basic service.

Your food is amazing, and I would order even more often if the to-go experience were easier and more welcoming. I hope management will consider improving the process so customers like me can continue enjoying Cheddar’s without this recurring frustration.

THE FOOD SUCKED SO DID THE SALAD NEVER GOING BACK there

Went on 11/7/25 we sat down at 5:50pm and at 7:20 we still had not got our entree. Waitress forgot to put our order in. We just got our check and left. We used to love Cheddar's but service was horrible.

Patricia & Team were superb. Very attentive & fantastic service. I'm from England & we need more Patricia's who are not only pleased to serve the great food, happy to engage in pleasant conversation.
Great service, great food (the ribs are to superb. Meat fell off the bone) I'd highly recommend. Manager of the store very attentive & friendly too. Hats off to Patricia though. Made my trip & will be back
