There's a reason Drafts has consistently won best in Hall. It simply is the best community watering hole, with the best bartenders, owners and regular patrons. Think Cheers with an alternative paint job. They also host the best events throughout the year and the Halloween Party is epic.
Mane, I have been visiting Downtown Drafts for years… probably before the craft beer boom, like the beginnings of Cherry Street & Akademia. However, I never wrote a review because I took it for granted. Well, this review is to the owners of cool ass spot for ALL… yeah all. It’s safe to say that Downtown Drafts has become a Gainesville staple. A nice place to go either after work to wet your whistle or hang out with friends old and new. Depending on the season, they come up with interesting drinks to attract more people like popsicles in sangria during the summer or adult hot chocolate during the winter.
