Stopped here for lunch while traveling and it was a great surprise. Was not expecting Mexican food going off the name but the food was wonderful. Definitely recommend the chips and queso and the chimichanga was the best I ever had.

I was honestly a bit disappointed with my experience at Haydee’s Cafe. I ordered the red chilaquiles expecting them to be made with guajillo sauce, but they turned out to be tomato-based, which was not what I was hoping for. On top of that, they only added a light sprinkle of cheese and no sour cream, which made the dish feel incomplete. Overall, I found the flavor lacking.
We also ordered the chicharrón, and that too lacked seasoning. The guacamole was another letdown — it tasted off, almost like the avocados were past their prime.
I really wanted to like this place, but the flavors just didn’t deliver for me.

I did like the breakfast taco. The last few time I DoorDash food it has been wrong and cold. I always order the breakfast taco steak egg and cheese and add an additional meat. I never get my additional meat and they put more egg and hardly no meat. And I always put lite on the eggs and they still put a lot. Never again
