Fantastic atmosphere, outdoor seating was very nice and refreshing. The food was delicious and didn't feel too heavy. The POG shake was delicious! Service was absolutely fantastic! Very Kind folks.

I picked the wrong thing to order. I was going for a veggie bowl and didn't think there would be so many noodles. But, I'll try something else next time. I would also ask for the dressing on the side. I really want to try them again. My husband had the teriyaki and really liked it.Kid-friendliness: They had an outdoor play yard. It looked great for kids.

Their spam musubi is the worst I’ve had in my entire life; I mean, just look at how old it looks. The rice was incredibly hard, the nori was rubbery. The rice in the mochiko chicken bowl was like minute maid rice or something, not white sticky rice… not to mention it was also hard, and the chicken was INCREDIBLY salty. Both sliders (teriyaki and bulgogi) were wet and the bread was falling apart, SALTY as well. The shave ice did not have enough flavoring, and it honestly just tasted like ice. No condensed milk or anything? The malasadas were okay. The dobash cake was good and comparable to what you can get on the islands, though. The service was mid at best. They would forget my food items, not give me any silverware, and I waited around 15 minutes for a “Hula Whip”, which also isn’t even Dole. The employees do not frequently take out the trash, and when they finally did, the trash was literally getting all over the floor on the patio. To summarize, nothing about Hello Hilo is authentic local Hawaiian food. The prices are also expensive, and it is just NOT WORTH IT.I mean, cmon, $3 for POG juice but no refills?? If you want real, GOOD TASTING, Hawaiian food, then make the trip to L&L Hawaiian BBQ instead.

We had an amazing catering experience with Hello Hilo at our Georgia FIRST robotics event in Gwinnett. Everything tastes amazing, from salads to entrees to donuts (I personally loved the Hilo Bay bowl). Personnel were positive and professional. Highly recommend for your next catering event!!

We Loved this place. Very chill environment. Outdoor area is awesome. Drinks are creative and very tropical. Rice bowls are perfectly proportioned. Sliders are packed with flavor. Fries seasoned perfectly and not overcooked or soggy. Sauces are tasty and well.....just different. We loved the pineapple BBQ. Restaurant is clean and well organized. Service and attitudes of employees were cheerful and respectful.

Just discovered this place and it seems to be a treasure. The restaurant structure is brand new and well built, beautiful facility. The landscape is impeccable, stone work and custom wood work. I appreciate the hard work that went into this place. I ordered breakfast - a burrito and it was very good, some Portuguese sausage thing w spam fried rice that was nice. The malasadas are insanely good, like a cream filled donut w very unique flavors. The drivethru is also cool, guy comes out to take your payment and deliver food, very courteous. So much room for parking too, I hope they do well! The pricing is reasonable as well. Will be going back to try their lunch/dinner menu.

Solid place. Food is pricey, but it's usually worth it.

The food is very good - Teriyaki Steak sliders with hurricane fries & drink and the Huli Huli Chicken Rice Bowl with drink came to $30.14 - I personally think that's a bit steep. It's VERY loud and echoes too much inside. If there are children around be ready to feel like you're at the park. Eat outside if the weather is good as that space is gorgeous.Vegetarian options: Everything is fresh made and you can leave out the meat optionsParking: Huge lotKid-friendliness: Great place for non picky eatersWheelchair accessibility: 2 parking spots went ramp

The food tasted ok, but we thought everything was overpriced for what we got. The atmosphere was a little too fast-food feeling for me to get any Hawaiian vibe. Service was ok, but also not stellar.I could have gone to a chain sit-down restaurant and saved money and had better service and food. The "longboard sliders" were stuffed into square boxes; it made them unattractive and messy to eat.If you're just yearning for some spam sushi go for it, but otherwise maybe not.Didn't get dessert but the cakes and cookies at least looked good, but again expensive.
