Real NOLA food. The soul, spice, and love the Garrett's put into every dish is just delightful. It's so great to see a family restaurant thrive. They make truly authentic, wonderful food and have their ingredients and soda brought straight from NOLA.I highly suggest the crawfish étouffée, shrimp and grits, and the wings, I like the all flats with half dry lemon/pepper seasoning and half wet.The beignets are also delicious. I have yet to be disappointed and we are on our way to becoming regulars.

This is a tiny little shop that sits behind gas pumps in the parking lot. The folks who run the place opened just as Covid shut everything down and yet they survived. The gumbo is hot and tasty. Everything is good. If you like Creole hot, this will do you well. The best part is the awesome couple who runs the place. Super friendly and welcoming. Eat in or take out. It's all good!

As looking for a spot to eat in the area my friend and I came across this restaurant. The restaurant decor it’s so beautiful and the owners are so sweet and humble they make you feel like family. The food was so good, flavorful, and fresh. Usually in other restaurants I usually have leftovers to take home but nope not here it’s to good to have any leftovers, we ate it all. Definitely will be always coming back when in the area visiting.

Went here after not coming for about 2 years.. the food was really good the last time I came but after this visit I don’t know if I will be back! I ordered the Jags Lafitte (never had) and Shrimp creole (I’ve had before) I was not pleased at all! I paid $33 to throw it away! It took over 30 mins for my food to come out which I don’t understand because it doesn’t take long to fry fish and it was only a couple ahead of me who I could see had been waiting a while for their food as well! I was not pleased with the food it’s as if it had been cooked in old grease and the crawfish sauce on top of the fish had the weirdest taste I just couldn’t eat it! The shrimp creole didn’t taste like it did the first time I had it and all I could taste was the overwhelming flavor of hot sauce it was not good at all! I can say the sides were the only thing I ate! Collards and the Mac and cheese was the best I’ve had in a while! I was really excited to catch them on an open day but I was very disappointed in the quality for the price I paid. I’m a big fan of New Orleans cuisine and it wasn’t giving that I Don’t think I will be back!

The best fried catfish I’ve ever had! Deliciously seasoned, piping hot, and not greasy at all. The collards, green beans, red beans and rice, macaroni and cheese are all delicious. None of the vegetables are seasoned with meat in case that’s important to you. My husband loved the fried ribs, baked beans, and beignets. The welcoming owners, John and Angela, make you feel like family and told us their secret: all the food is made with love. We will be back next week with visiting family to have the gumbo, shrimp and grits, and other New Orleans specialties. If you haven’t been here, you are seriously missing out!

The food is Amazing and the owners welcome you home when you walk in the door. Definitely one of our favorite new places. Only wish we had found them sooner. Try EVERYTHING! And definitely get the beignets ?

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is great, the food is great, and the service is great! We had shrimp and sweet corn salad and bbq shrimp. Both were delicious! I loved dipping the bread in the amazing sauce that came with the shrimp. Afterwards, it was fun to go to the tap room and try severalmm by of the drinks they had on tap. My husband drinks beer and I love wine and they had both. I encourage you to try this place. You won't be disappointed!

The folks who run this eatery are without question some of the nicest people around! So warm, friendly and welcoming. Called us "family" and we felt like it, too, although it was our first time dining here. Food was deliciously prepared. Can't wait to return and try different things. You won't go wrong ordering fried catfish, green beans and Mac & cheese! Bbq ribs were also yummy!! Don't hesitate to stop by and let these nice folks spoil ya a bit!!

The food is delicious! I had the fried whiting plate with mac&cheese and greens. The breading on the fish was perfectly seasoned and crispy. My picky eater kids even gobbled their food down. The owners are warm, friendly and treat you like family. Great experience!
