I have to praise how great a “first date” it was at Luna’s last evening. We were greeted by the owner and he followed up two times to make sure we were enjoying our evening meal. Great atmosphere, great food, and wait staff. I can not over state how great of a place it is! We will be back!
We had lunch here, and it was excellent. We split the salmon entree, and it was more than enough for both of us. Shawn (Shaun?) was our waiter and provided outstanding service. We've been here for dinner about 6 months ago and it was equally good. Highly recommend Luna's. They have a dress code, but unfortunately it's not well enforced. We like to dress up for nice places, and having some schlub in shorts and a T-shirt somewhat detracts from the fine dining experience....
I recently attended a private party at Luna's. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a filet with the potato patty and subbed out the veggies for the mac and cheese. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I enjoyed my meal and the ambiance. The services was fabulous as well. We live in Loganville but plan to make the drive to Gainesville again very soon because the food and service were that good!
