O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar

I have been to O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar in Gainesville, GA and had a great experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal at a reasonable price.

Food is good... service is sometimes very slow. Even my last time there, didnt see our server for 20 min. We finally had to ask for her to get our check. Plus the party at an adjacent table were getting frustrated, as they still had their menus and wanted to put in their orders. I think at times the servers are spread too thin.

Had caramel pie for dessert. It should be at least room not still frozen. And my friend got the peach cobbler but too bad the cobbler was not warm enough to melt the ice cream. It's the details people. It's not that hard to figure out.

I ordered their new menu garlic steak penne Alfredo. I did not taste any garlic at all in the dish.My family ordered the cedar plank salmon and the regular salmon and they were happy with it.

Kid-friendliness: they are kid friendly. There were kids there screaming during our meal that was not enjoyable.

I went last week for the first time and I was actually really I’m pressed with the food for the price. Our waitress was also very nice. I have the seafood platter and it was delicious

If you like to be subjected to LOUD music on the patio so you cannot talk to anyone at the table then this is the place for you. It gave me a headache. The music and volume is controlled by Nashville TN. We were on Gainsville GA. The manager at this restaurant has no control of the music playing or the volume. RIDICULOUS!

Everything was wonderful. We were on a road trip and stopped for lunch. The manager stopped by our table to see if everything was enjoyable. His name was Derek & he was just so kind. He told us he was new to that town & location. We had a nice chat & then he continued on. I watched him visit with guests & listened as he spoke encouragement to the other workers. Ya don't see much of that kinda "Boss" behavior these days. I just wanted to say He made our day. Thanks DerekGood Luck to you Always

Tavia at the bar took care of us. She is amazing! Great server!! I'm a tough sale since I was a server long ago but she is wonderful. When we go back we will sit in her section.

Food service was great. Went recently for lunch and got potato soup and a caesar salad. The salad was good, but the soup was literally tasteless. Even with cheese/bacon on top of the soup, it tasted like water. I was very disappointed. Also, the bread was dry.

6 staff members passed us at the welcome podium and didn't acknowledge us. Finally someone came and brought us to a table where we waited for another 10 min before being acknowledged. Lunch was ok but nothing to rave about. Paid bill online and left.

After my third terrible experience getting lunch from this location and submitting two separate complaints directly that went ignored and unresolved- I decided to post publicly to hopefully save someone else their time and money because they do not care and will not attempt to make right any issues. I found a long black hair in my soup and purchased two that were basically water, the lettuce in my salad didn't have a single leaf without some black on it and I am out over $20 for the second time. The only positive was the To-Go person who was friendly. I don't know what kind of manager or cook would let food that looks like this leave the kitchen.

I wish I could remember our server's name, but she is the best! She also is the bartender and makes a GREAT Bahama mama. I'll be back Saturday for another one! The food exceeded expectations!

Even on father's day, service is good. Restaurant was busy service was curious and fast. The food was fresh and made to order I had Salmon and sirloin with bacon bits, I gave tortilla soup and Cesar salad because portions were big. Always a good value on a great meal!

I’m not one to complain, I love coming here and have always gotten good service. Today was not so good our server who’s name is Adara wasn’t so helpful, she took long to bring us refills on our drinks twice and the whole almost two hours of being there she only approached me and my husband twice. We waited about an hour to get our food and it wasn’t even packed, I would understand if it was a busy at that time but there wasn’t many people. I hope my next visit is better.

Was our servers first day and she was great. Unfortunately that was the only good thing. We used to eat here frequently but today will be our last. Other than the rolls the food was very poor. The restaurant smells like mold, the bathroom smells like a portal let that’s been baking in the sun. Time to close the doors!!!!!
