Went in a little after 8 tonight and they refused to fill our order! They would only take online orders tonight. Says they don’t close until 9. Customer service here has always been unwelcoming and cold. We won’t be back.

Food was mediocre.
Dine-In Experience: Nasty and dirty tables. Staff doesn’t clean up. Horrible smell inside while eating. Bathrooms were okay.

First of all, you can’t sneak up on anyone because the floors are so sticky, your shoes squeak with each step. Does it serve as a bar at night? Second, the waitress never checked on us after my husband helped her deliver our food. Third, they ask for a tip on the bill before being served, which may affect the food quality and service We bussed our own table because we weren’t certain if we would ever see the server again. Last, but most of all, this place is named “rib shack”, which indicates that is their specialty. Their ribs were the driest, puniest, most awful cold ribs I’ve ever been served. All hot food was cool. Stay away. There’s a reason no one else was in there dining.

I don’t do alot of reviews but had to today. I frequently order online for delivery and sad to say, most of the time the food is cold, dry, just not great. I order for convenience really. I was REALLY craving bbq so I ordered from Shane’s Rib Shack. I didn’t even want to finish my meal before coming to leave a review, it is that good! Still very hot, even though I’m 12 miles away! I got the bbq pork plate with two sides. The pork is unbelievably tender and juicy, mac and cheese and baked beans still steaming hot and delicious. And I still have the peach cobbler for dessert! I’m sure I won’t be disappointed. The price for the amount of food I got?!?! I’m just shocked ! I’m honestly amazed at the entire experience. Kudos Shane’s Rib Shack!! I’ll definitely be ordering again!!

The chicken and ribs I ordered were almost hard as a rock, way to dry.
I have never waited so long for food anywhere. You would think that Shane’s would be semi fast at getting food out. The restaurant was not very busy at all. My husband and I waited 50 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we still had not gotten our food. All we ordered were 2 Big Dad combos. Should not be that hard to make. Joanna stood behind the counter and glowered at us and the rest of the dining area the entire time. She was also on her cell phone the majority of the time. We finally just asked for our money back and left. We will never come to the Gainesville location again.

I got the half chicken with Mac and Cheese with Baked Beans. The Mac and Cheese is like Kraft's Mac and Cheese. The Baked Beans are okay. Chicken was pretty good. Not Dry.
I'd recommend ordering online as the baskets are not on their physical menu but are online. They seem to give better value.
