I was very much looking forward to trying Sizzling Spices, finally having Indian cuisine in Gainesville. I hate to leave this review but unfortunately I was very disappointed. I've been to numerous Indian restaurants, getting butter chicken. This one was very runny and lacked flavor compared to typical Butter Chicken. For the price, the take out portions were smaller compared to other restaurants. The inside did look beautiful though.

Went with friends for lunch. I haven't had Indian food before, so my one friend helped me choose. I got Butter Chicken combo with garlic naan and it was wonderful. My friend said it was a little pricey for the portion size, but it was really delicious.

Just ate Lunch here today and it is always a treat! Food is sooo very good every time! Tried The Sizzling Special Salad today and it was one of the best salads I have had. Love this place, if u have not tried it u are missing something special in Gainesville Ga.

I had such a wonderful experience dining at this Indian restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that immediately made me feel welcome. The atmosphere was inviting, with elegant décor and soft music that set the perfect tone for the evening.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of authentic flavors, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced in spice. The starters were flavorful, the curries were rich and aromatic, and the naan came fresh and fluffy right out of the tandoor. I especially loved the paneer dish, it was creamy, vibrant, and comforting in every bite.
Service was attentive without being intrusive. The staff took time to explain the menu and offered thoughtful recommendations, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. It is a true gem for anyone who loves Indian cuisine or is eager to discover it. I will definitely be returning soon and recommending it to friends and family.

Service was great, no complaints there but we were not super impressed with the food.
Skewers as an appetizer weren't anything to write home about.. not terrible just not very much flavor.
We ordered vindaloo as our mains.. honestly it was fairly flavorless as well and it was not spicy AT ALL, despite asking for it hot and our waitress brining us additional hot sauces.. just kind of disappointed in the whole meal.

Deceptive Menu & Misleading Portions
Ordered the “Whole Chicken Biryani” and was shocked to receive just two small bone-in pieces and two tiny boneless pieces of chicken mixed with rice. When I questioned the owner, his response was even more appalling—he claimed that this somehow adds up to a “whole chicken.”
This is both deceptive and misleading. The menu does not match what’s served, and the food is far from authentic. Definitely not a restaurant I would recommend.

Beautiful romantic indoor seating, as well as patio seating that is dog friendly. 🐶 ☀️ We enjoyed all the food. They can make any of the entree dishes mild, medium, or spicy. Our waitress was very helpful with defining any of the foreign menu items we were unfamiliar with. Looking forward to visiting again & trying more of the menu.

Sizzling Spices is hands-down one of the best places to eat in Gainesville! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a great vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy every bite.
The Clay Oven options are definitely the better menu items along with the Vegetable Pakora from the appetizer menu.
If you’re looking for great Indian food in a great atmosphere, Sizzling Spices is the spot. Highly recommend!
