The food and service and ambience is great. A lot of times they have entertainment and singers the people that own the place. Toney is fantastic people who care about every person there he supports our police in our military with a big banquet to raise money for them. They are worth spending your money at it all goes to great causesand Toney and his wife work there opening hour to closing hour making sure everything is right for the customers. I have to go there at least once a week the grouper sandwiches, huge and fantastic and Skogee sauce taste so good.5 star

My favorite place for Sunday brunch! The vibes are so tropical and they even have live music sometimes. Love the colorful ambience and friendly staff! Buffet is always good and drinks are good too! Always a good time at Skogies!

Country band was playing live music when we got there on Saturday night. The service was excellent and they even brought food out for the puppy! Definitely dog friendly! Gorgeous view of the lake. I think they’re only open on weekends in the off season, since it’s primarily a boating restaurant. Free and ample parking. Bathroom is a small walk, but not bad. Delicious fish and sweet potato tots, and the cider drink (alcoholic) was so refreshing! Only thing was we wiped off our own table. Everything else was excellent.

I live on the south end of the lake so I don't get up here much but it's definitely getting aged and seeing some years on it but it's what I remember and I love it! Just got a beer with my daughter and some shrimp and a grouper sandwich everything was great, lots of kids, great weather just something that if you live on the lake, you've been to more than once especially over 40 years. Highly recommend.!!

Very nice service and the food is fine. I’d you go on Sundays between 9-2, be aware that it is a brunch buffet for $20 a person. Seemed very over priced for the quality of food that is served.

Order mixed up. Long wait between wait staff visit to table. Missing items off the order. Uncooked grouper fish sandwich. Soggy middle in the hushpuppies. My fish sandwich was cold. I asked for lemon and a young boy ( 10 or 11 yrs old)brought me one lemon slice he held in his hand). Unsanitary and disappointing from start to finish. Will not go bk. Fighting stomach ache and nausea as we drive home.

Great place to eat on the lake. We always sit at the bar to eat. Love the bartender she is very attentive. Food is good. They have live music. It's family and dog friendly. If you like fish they are known for their grouper sandwich. You can get a whole of a half done several ways. Don't forget to try the Skogie sauce.

Arrived at1:30 on a Sunday expecting lunch of bar food. Restaurant was serving breakfast brunch on cheap paper plates with even cheaper plastic silverware. Couldn’t even cut through sausage. Food was very over priced. 4 adults were $95 with tip and that was no alcohol and 3 of us had water. That is a lot of money for scrabbled eggs and gravy, sausage,, potatoes and 1 biscuit each. After waiting a long time, they finally refilled the fried shrimp and grouper but quality wasn’t great and we waited a long time. Just a bad experience after a long boat ride to get there. Setting is nice and our waitress was sweet. Too bad the food was so bad. Disappointing

We have so many fond memories of great meals but things have changed. We ordered the sampler platter. The french fries and 3 fried shrimp were the best part. The Clam strips were bits and pieces and overcooked. The Crab balls and hush puppies were under cooked. The Blackened "Grouper" was way too salty. Broccoli salad had a odd flavor as did my water. The $5 draft beer was cold. Kudos for calling the Grouper what it is on their menu... Asian Pangasius aka Swai Fish. Very disappointing to know that quality has taken a back seat to profits. The service was decent, but sad to say this will probably be our last time here.

Great food and excellent customer satisfaction. We drove up from the south end of the lake Saturday morning for breakfast. We did not realize they were not serving breakfast anymore on Saturday’s. The owner came over and said they would serve us breakfast although it was a mistake on the website. We were super thankful bc they went over and above to cook us a delicious breakfast out of the food truck. Give them a chance as they have been through a lot with the remodel from the fire at their restaurant.

First time and overall great spot! Food was good. I had the 8 ounce burger and she(we)had the Cuban. Yummy!! Sat outside on picnic table. Although we arrived at 2pm on Sunday right as buffet was switching over which caused an extra wait.
