First time here. Menu had a lot of options. All of them sounded good. Food was out pretty quick. Food tasted great! I would definitely come back when I come to the area.

I visit this roadside BBQ shack once every 2-3 years when in the area, and my most recent visit (Oct 2024) was not as good as I remember. The Smoked meats were good, but not great, and the sides I chose (baked beans and coleslaw) were just flat, lacking any character to make them worth the calories. In a part of the country all about BBQ, it was just not that inspired a meal. Not sure if they have changed or if my tastes have changed, but I was disappointed regardless.

Slooooooooow service, probably get quicker service in prison. If you have a take out order go through drive thru. They take priority during busy times and you will wait twice as long if you go in and order. Staff is friendly but never gets in a rush. Food is above average BBQ fair.

Smokehouse BBQ is our go to place for southern BBQ. We have been repeat customers for thirty years
and only get BBQ from one place. Smokehouse.
We eat here at least twice a month. Prices are reasonable, the flavor is amazing, the recipe and homemade sauces are multi award winning and the service is outstanding.
You have to try it! If you like BBQ, you'll absolutely love Smokehouse!

They were out of chicken for some reason so I had the ribs and sliced brisket. The brisket was the better of my two picks, the ribs weren't very warm and only a very slight smokey taste to them. The mac & cheese was cheesy enough but kind of bland as were the baked beans. Never have been a big fan of Brunswick Stew but I always try on the first visit. I have to say it was ok, at least there was some substance to it, not puraid like most place serve. Also didn't have the usual overwhelming tomato soup base that I've run into alot in the past. Will try a 2nd lunch here next time I'm back in that area.

Pulled pork sandwich was amazing and so was the cole slaw and brunswick stew. Will go back again but will need to go earlier in the day so I can get ribs and chicken as those were sold out when I went.

I'm new to the area, and so glad I found this place. I'd say they have the best plates compared to any other named BBQ restaurants in Atlanta. The meat is tender, flavorful, and just right. People are nice. The seating area is cleaned. The parking is spacious. I'd come back for sure!

The place was clean and the service and staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was not up to our expectations.

The ribs were so overcooked and dry they were almost inedible. The braised beef was good once you added sauce but lacked flavor on its own.

The Brunswick stew was good. I enjoyed it but my mom did not. The Mac and cheese was decent it tasted fine but the cheese sauce was gritty from flour that didn't fully dissolve. The potato salad lacked flavor it was a southern potato salad but lacked the mustard or condiments that I feel make potato salad interesting.

Everything was edible but I will not be coming back. This place is very overrated.
