The cashier guy is the owners son (I've known this place since I was a kid ever since their og spot on ATL Hwy) and he's such a jerk imo, I'm honestly surprised he let himself be filmed for a tiktok (Then again it's free publicity so why not haha) I saw a few weeks ago but the tacos are good I will tell you that however just be prepared for the bad customer service and all the seats being put up to not allow dine in. Poor owner isn't really there anymore and let's his wife and son run the joint so be aware of the shitty customer service.

The quesabirria tacos are phenomenal. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Definitely THE spot for quesabirria con consomme in Gainesville!

Our dog had just been put under for surgery, and we needed to snag a little something, and this restaurant is just a stones through from the Vet Hospital.
The restaurant decor was what you would expect. Although very clean, the lighting was way to dim for my liking during the day.
I got excited seeing a salsa bar, but could hardly see any of the sauces due to the non existent lighting and nothing was labeled.
I tried 4 of the salsa, some had good heat but the flavor profile tasted like dirt to me.
The server was very happy, always smiled and did her best to take our order.
Although both my hubby and I got meals that weren't what we thought but we made it work. I feel the language barrier and poor designed menu descriptions caused this snafu.
The food took longer than we are accustomed to at tex mex restaurants, but still was able to make it all work.
All in all decent place but would probably only go again in a pinch.

The price is great for the portion. you can eat probably barely 3 tacos and be full! They don't skimp on the meat like all these other places do and still charge the same price. I think they should open more, they'd get more business I think.

Worth the drive from Suwannee. 10/10 Banging

Happy we found authentic Mexican food. You order at the front counter. The person that greeted us was so nice and helpful. Hot sauce is spicy and good with everything. There’s self serve veggies. Everything we got was delicious! We would definitely return.

Food could be ok, but customer service is the worst part, salsas are so bad, salsa makes a good taco.

I’ve been wanting to try this place because I’m a huge taco and burrito fan and let me just say this place did not disappoint. Once I walked in I was greeted by a super friendly smile, Gabriel! The burrito was so flavorful and I liked that I can do two options on the meat. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Can’t wait to come back with the family.
