Delish! My mom recommended this place and we stopped in for brunch. All of their brunch items looked amazing, but we decided to split the brunch cubano, which was plenty for two people. It did include a side - we chose the breakfast potatoes. Prices seemed a little high for a barbecue place to me, but I’m also not very familiar with Gainesville, so this might be the going rate for the area. Regardless, the food was amazing! Others in our group got the lemon waffle and the inked pig breakfast and all were raved about. They offered a peanut butter banana pudding which sounded to die for, but we were too full to get this. Next time!

Inked Pig catered our wedding, raving reviews from our guests about the brisket and pulled pork. The sides are delicious and the okra is the best I've ever found. The service was excellent, didn't forget anything, not even the spoons or bowls for the Brunswick stew. Love this BBQ and the restaurant is charming. The chairs could be more comfortable. 😀 We eat here every time we are in Gainesville.

Never Again — Overpriced and Awful
Pulled pork was gross — dry, flavorless, and just plain sad. The mac and cheese? Dry. The fried okra was so salty it tasted like someone dumped an entire salt shaker on it. Like seriously, how do you mess up mac and cheese? That’s the bare minimum for a BBQ place. Overpriced, overrated, and absolutely not worth it. Won’t be back.
I am very picky about barbecues I like. This might be the best I ever had of all three. I got the pork and my wife got the ribs and smoked turkey combo. So we tried it around and I can honestly say I believe it was the best ribs the best pulled pork and the best smoked turkey I've ever had.
