Bent Axle Neighborhood Grille

It was ok. Our table had to be cleaned, the waitress was efficient, and the food was pretty good.

Edit; I feel like this place has really improved since our first visit, (new owners I think), anyway I thought I would give a better review to reflect that.

Great food....great service....and fantastic decor.

Came in tonight, they had a live band and even sitting in the back I couldn't hear myself think. Ordered the turkey bacon ranch sandwich. I've had it several times, but it seemed they changed over to cheap sandwich turkey, did not taste good and they forgot the bacon. Manager offered to give me something else so I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Took it home as the rest of my party already finished their meals. Literally tasted like fish and old oil. Guessing fish was fried in the same oil. Ended up throwing it in the trash. The manager and the servers were polite and professional, but that doesn't change the fact the food was horrible. There was items on the menu they said they no longer carry, even though they were still listed on the menu. They did state they have a new cook, but that's no excuse. I will not be back and cannot recommend this restaurant.

i recently visited the Bent Axle Grill at 125 W Clinton St, in Gray, GA. I hadn't been there in awhile. I sat at the bar and was promptly greeted again by Maddie. She took my drink order and I was quickly served. It was great to catch up with her and what has changed over the last year. Thanks for the great service. Hope to be back soon!

This is an awesome place everything from the appearance, the service, and the food. Great place we definitely want to go back.

Best Fried Bologna Sandwich on Earth. Pay the price and order it. You will thank me and them for it.

Worst place in gray to eat at. Takes over an hour no matter if they’re packed or slow. Bartender takes forever to make 2 drinks. Horrible experience

The food was good but my server was so sweet!!! I wish I could remember her name. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings!!! Would recommend!

Usually my food is delicious but ordered dinner last night. Ordered the smothered grilled chicken breast and it was tenders instead of a breast. Also my side was cheesy broccoli and it was as if they but shredded cheese on it and wasn't melted all the way. Called the next day and spoke with someone about my ordered. Told her what I ordered and I wasn't please with it at all. As about the meal having a breast but tenders. She said if they sell out then tenders are what they used. I told her in a situation like this you should make sure with the customer first. She said she would let them know. I didn't enjoy my meal at all. Hope the next time my food will be delicious. At least my son enjoyed his a
salmon.

I usually enjoy this spot. Best food in town and a good fun atmosphere, but today was a disappointment. Maybe it's because it was a Sunday afternoon. They were out of about half of the items on the menu (not an exaggeration), service was slow, with our server vanishing for long stretches even though they weren't very busy. The food took well over half an hour to come out, but our server didn't bother to check on us or the food, and our order was quite simple. The food was good once it got there, but then our formerly absent server tried to start clearing plates before we were through eating. I'm hoping it was an off day because we've enjoyed it in the past.
