Thought we were giving a tip to the cashier but after we received our food my husband was curious as to whether or not she received ANY of the tips the POS prompts us to give.. Unfortunately, she DOES NOT. We ended up Tipping her with cash...
Update update: went today for the lunch special and their wonton soup tasted great! Really happy I decided to try it again. Once again the food was delicious. The spring rolls are always GREAT!
Update: not sure what happened with their wonton soup but it’s not that great anymore. 😔 really enjoyed it before. Today, it was not hot whatsoever and their wonton felt hard. The beef with broccoli and steamed rice was great though. Well, the rest of the food was delicious except the wonton soup.
Great food for quality And price! Also, have the best contactless system going for them!

Costumer service is horrible. I was a regular at this place. The last time that I ordered, they messed up my order, which I excused. When I tried to order again today, I asked for them to repeat my order. I wanted to make sure my order was right this time. I don’t see any harm in that. The person on the phone hung up on me. I thought this was a mistake, so I called back. Again, I asked for them to repeat my order and they told me “I don’t want to do business like that” and hung up. Such a shame, especially since their food isn’t bad. But I guess standing up for what you want is considered rude and disrespectful.

I’ve been eating here for years and it’s always been my go-to spot, but the last two visits were extremely disappointing. The food quality has gone downhill. They no longer serve the yellow fried rice, and the replacement rice is mushy with a completely off flavor profile.
On top of that, I was charged $2.50 just to add pork to my fried rice, and the new menu prices are way too high. I paid $17.50 for a combination plate with boneless spare ribs, pork fried rice, and a shrimp roll, this same meal used to be around $12–$14.
Service has also declined. I had to wait about 5 minutes just to be helped because the only person who spoke English stepped away. It definitely feels like there’s new management since the original staff is no longer there.
Unfortunately, this place is no longer worth it to me, and I won’t be returning.

Ever since the new owners took over this place is not worth my time nor money.
They don't pay attention to you when you order. My wife and I have experienced this a number of times. This time tonight was the last straw. I ordered beef Lo mein... I got beef and broccoli. Do they even in a little bit sound the same?????? No.
Food is overpriced and lacks genuine Chinese taste. Nothing like Takeout from NY.
I will not be coming back here.

Food was great to be honest. But the awful customer service ruined it. They forgot the sweet and sour sauce for my chicken. I called asking for a refund for the sweet and sour chicken because it was missing the sauce. They told me they could only refund me 2 dollars for the sauce because I received the chicken. I declined the spit in the face and filed a charge back.
That's like asking someone who is expecting a fully loaded burger to accept a bare hamburger instead of fixing the issue and making it right.

I waited 45 minutes for an order that I was told would be 15 minutes.
I was then given the wrong food not what was advertised on their google page and they wouldn’t replace the food. Told me I had to place another order and make another payment.

This place has went down hill cooking wise. They used to remind of New York however we ordered 50 dollars worth of food and the rice was mushy as well as the shrimp tasted old. Don’t waste ur time here . Not worth it

I stopped by to see if I could purchase 20 fortune cookies. The cashier was nice enough and said if I buy food he would give them to me. I ordered the chicken and broccoli. I could not believe it - I took it home- that was bit chicken at all. The meat was a weird tan and it tasted funny. I love Chinese food and have eaten it for years!! This was nit chicken!! I am disappointed, disturbed and upset that I had to through away my money and buy food again for lunch!! Terrible!!

This review is strictly for the Fried Chicken & Lo Mein Combo!! it’s the only meal I order from China Cafe and it’s amazing! The fried chicken is seasoned to perfection, a great size (not too small or too big), and packed with flavor every time. Definitely a favorite! 🍜🍗🔥
