“So we were on a Lifestyle Visit in the area (coming from CA), staying at the Ritz Carlton and our real estate agent had highly recommended us to the Table at the Lake for dinner. As we parked, we quickly noticed how quaint the outdoor seating and lighting was....It was just so welcoming and beautiful! We entered into the restaurant which quickly felt like we were in Europe with the exquisite decor and hospitality. We met both of the owners, Jon and Jeff as we entered the restaurant and they both appreciated and were gracious that the local real estate agent had recommended us trying their new restaurant. They were super warm and friendly and accommodating even though we did not have reservations and they were quite busy. My husband and I were promptly seated in their outdoor patio with the incredible, cozy ambiance of beautifully decorated accents and decor. Our waiter, Johnny was beyond welcoming, attentive and very knowledgeable about all of the menu items. All of his recommendations were spot on and we literally ordered exactly what he recommended based on our desires. Johnny was amazing with his impeccable service and attention to detail. It was truly such an intimate experience with their Southern hospitality. Plus the owners both stopped by our table to check in and chat with us during our dinner. We absolutely loved the personal touch that we felt while dining at the Table at the Lake! When we visit Lake Oconee again and maybe purchase our next home, we will definitely dine again at this incredible gem of a restaurant! Such a treat in so many ways! We highly recommend this place!!”

“We just went to Lamai Ban Thai and while it was great before it is MAGNIFICENT now. Everything we ate was so delicious and the ingredients fresh. They recently got new owners who obviously are passionate about great and authentic Thai food. We definitely wish them best of luck and look forward to going back very soon”

“Good food served fast. Holcomb's is a Christmas tradition at our house. We have Holcomb's barbecue and stew every Christmas Day. Also, their barbecue sauce is the best! We've been going to them for 50 years. They've never disappointed us. I just wish they had more locations.”

“Bright, clean, and welcoming—this Starbucks was the perfect stop on our drive. The space is modern and cozy, with plenty of seating and a calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax for a bit.

We had a warm breakfast sandwich that was just right—crispy on the outside, melty on the inside—and a refreshing iced coffee to go with it. Before heading back out on the road, I grabbed a quick refill, which was super convenient and much appreciated.

The staff was friendly and everything, including the bathrooms, was very clean. Whether you’re road-tripping or just in the area, this location is definitely worth a stop.”
