Great food and atmosphere !
I picked up a BBQ chicken plate and was surprised to see that it was approximately 1 breast cut up into strips. VERY small portion and the chicken was lukewarm at best and dry. For an $18.00 plate, very disappointed. I would definitely not order the chicken again if I give them another try. The pickup process went smoothly.

Great Food! Pork Belly Burnt Ends are a must order. Meat just fell off the St Louis ribs. Side dish items were all awesome too. 👍

We met the owners a few weeks ago they were the kindest people and so we decided to give 5B a try tonight!
It was hands down THE BEST Brisket we have ever eaten. So tender and the flavor was amazing.
We just had a trip to Texas and this tastes just like we were still in Texas! We loved the atmosphere and how clean the restaurant is!
100% recommend you will love and enjoy!

If you love a good brisket or ribs, this place does not disappoint. Honestly I was hoping it did as it replaced one of my fave restaurants on the lake (Pickle Barrel). The minute I walked in my nose and taste buds were in bbq heaven. I was like one of Pavlov’s dogs. The aroma of brisket cooking filled the air. If you are like me and dine alone you can appreciate a good bar, especially the seats. Theirs are nice and roomy and esthetically pleasing to the eye.The service was absolutely phenomenal. Upon seating, I was greeted by a warm, friendly and humble gentleman, named Kent whom I later discovered was the owner, sitting in for an employee who had graduated…I think that’s what he said. Ugh! What a boss!! The margaritas are DEELISH! And did I mention, Kent aims to please. He makes sure his patrons are satisfied as he frequently asks, “do you need anything?” Or “How’s that margarita?” As for their brisket and ribs, not sure I can do them justice. Man!!! They just melt in your mouth! Well seasoned, no need for a knife meat just falls off of the bone. And the sauces are just to die for! My fave is the Carolina Gold! DEELISH! If that does nothing for ya, ya have two more choices-a sweet sauce and a sweet and spicy sauce but that would take Kent to tell you about those. This guy knows his sauces. The baked beans are good and the Mac and cheese was ok. Not my style but eatable. All I can say is if you have a craving for some good brisket, this place will surely hit the spot. Very lively and I love that patrons know the owner by name. Kent and his family are some of the nicest, friendliest and humble owners I have ever met. If you decide to patron this establishment, please be sure to ask for Kent and let him know, the NYC TEACHER recommended this place to you. Happy eating!
Day2-The food was so good here, my hard to please 76 year old mother actually, asked me to get her brisket sandwich and another order of the banana pudding. This place is undoubtedly A HIT!!!
Dietary restrictions: They serve a gluten free banana type pudding if memory serves me correctly.

We were looking for a place in the area for lunch & I saw this place online. What a find! My husband & I shared an appetizer and a two meat platter. (Onion Strings for the app, then sliced brisket and pulled pork on the plate with Mac & cheese, and slaw.). Everything was fabulous! We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks with lunch. (We’re on vacation.). Tara was our server. I highly recommend this place!

We had the ribs. They were fairly tender but also chewy in some places, and clearly not pit bbq. The onion strings were not seasoned well and were all clumped together. One of us ordered the pulled pork and he enjoyed his and the Mac-n-cheese. Our waiter was very friendly.

I don’t eat any and everybody bbq, especially smoked, because of my time cooking in Louisiana but when I tell you I love this place, I do. Sometimes we may eat here twice in one week and even on the days they normally close they do special meals. Definitely a place I recommend if you’re in this area. And on top of that the Shanita-Rita is by far the best mix drink in the Lake Oconee area. Maybe even Ga.
