Excellent food and attentive service! Denise was very very good at getting the details for our party of 6. We will be back soon. The menu has so many wonderful options we need to try.

This may be a lengthy review. Starting with the good stuff... the service was excellent. Our waitress was busy but never kept us waiting. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. There were three of us eating, celebrating my SILs 73rd birthday. She had Filet Tips. She said the sauce and potatoes were wonderful, but the Filet Tips were actually pretty tough. A filet should never be tough. My spouse's meal of scallops was good, but his dessert, Creme Brulee, was actually burnt across the top. I ordered what was supposed to be a House Specialty, the Creamy Seafood Risotto. It was actually crunchy....undercooked. Not just al dente but crunchy. And to end it all, I had the Chocolate Cobbler. It's kind of a very crunchy warm brownie under ice cream and a mound of whipped cream. At first, although odd, I was enjoying it. However, I ended up with a golf ball size hunk of whatever it was, in the bottom. It was as hard as a golf ball!! I literally could not break it apart. I don't mind spending money on good food. This whole meal was well below par. Lastly, there was a woman working there who appeared to be helping out with everything. I'm not sure what her title is. She would probably be considered middle-aged, but that's not really the issue. She was wearing a VERY short skort type article of clothing. Usually, skorts have a reasonable length of shorts underneath. When this woman walked, the skort just barely covered her butt. When she was serving food and bent over a bit, you
saw very short, almost panty style shorts underneath. It was totally inappropriate for the job and the particular restaurant. The Filet has always been a favorite of ours. Tonight was a disappointment all around.

The new York strip was a cheap cut, full of gristle and poorly seasoned. The rosemary brie mashed potatoes were somehow lacking in flavor, I don't know how you mess up mashed potatoes. Caesar salad was adequate, but I found two pieces of hair in mine. The only decent thing they had was the bread and sun-dried tomato. Extremely disappointing for the price.

Food was great and service as well until 30 mins before close. After spending over $500 we were being pushed and rushed to leave, not a good feeling when they still had plenty of time to close and clean. After the Owner's response I changed to a 4 star because it was professionally handled and the food was very good and so was service until the rush. Owning a restaurant helps me to understand and have mercy, we all are human and have bad days. We will return.

Filet is not what it used to be. I bought my daughter an 8 oz filet and she showed me how 3oz or so was fatty. She was back and forth on whether to say something. She felt bad because she’s a server at a fine dining restaurant in the area and knows it’s uncomfortable to say something. I told her that for $45 that if 1/3 is fat she should. Well, next thing we know the owner/manager comes out with a class on rare steaks and how in the light it glistens. Okay, I don’t own a restaurant called filet but I’m not an idiot on steaks. Neither is my daughter because they serve steaks daily and we both know fat vs whatever you called that. What I am is a person who is an expert on conflict resolution and $10 of steak just resulted in a bad review and loss of business.
