We had a very enjoyable lunch at this quaint cafe. We had our 11 year old granddaughter with us. She gave the country fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy a thumbs up! My husband ordered the pimento cheese, fried tomato sandwich with just a small piece of bacon. He too enjoyed the unique sandwich a rave review. He especially liked the chipotle ranch dressing served with the sandwich. Being the traditionalist I order the Chicken salad plate and fruit. This dish did not disappoint....
Great place with a great location. It looks very unassuming from the outside, but the inside is tastefully done. The welcomingly decorated traditional bar area is located in the back of this establishment with more normal restaurant style seating towards the front. The staff is quite friendly, efficient, and attentive. If any of our drinks dropped below half our waiter immediately filled them back up. Parking: Place is the middle of a busy block, so parking was about a block away. Nice clean area, so it was a nice walk, though.
