All I can say is OMG! At this moment I am eating some of their homemade strawberry cake! Oh my, it's heaven in my mouth! The owner talked me into getting one to go. I should have gotten two! They are $5 and come in a small loaf pan. 2-3servings, or 1 serving because it's soooo awesome!

We dropped in at lunch time because we were working nearby. Found this place on Yelp and ARE WE EVER GLAD WE DID! I had the Bourbon Bacon Burger with homemade chips and it was outstanding! The food was great and the service was also! We will be back whenever we are in the area.

Drove down for exhibit at the Artisan's Gallery (??) and got a rec for this charming place. Peaceful surroundings, attentive & friendly service. Both of the cooks checked in with customers, which I enjoy. Fried green tomatoes as appetizer - hot!! Fresh! Not greasy either. Hubby had 3 veg plate with fried okra, grilled green beans w bacon & onions, mashed potatoes, and a cornbread "pancake". Must have been good as all I was offered was the last of the green beans (and they were). I had turkey Reuben on rye - turkey was moist, not dry, and just right dressing kept it from being soggy. Homemade chips very good. We will certainly return and hopefully can make a Sunday brunch at some point.

I had the blackened catfish sandwich with homemade chips. My meal was delicious! The prices are great and it's a nice place to stop in for a quick lunch. Overall, great experience!
