“I came with the intent to take pictures of the grounds, but this place is so picturesque that I felt like 3-4 photos wouldn’t do it justice, so I just decided to add some humble contributions of the food and beer. This place is perfect for hosting events or even being a wedding venue, but outside of that the food and beer needs to be discussed because no matter how nice and scenic a brewery is if the beer isn’t up to snuff it deserves an average rating. The beer itself is very solid quality. My favorite being the lager. The pretzel is also great and a good price; up in Atlanta you’d pay $13 for the same thing and get less pretzel. Overall, scenic, great vibe, and quality food and beer. The draft list is on the smaller side, but there’s plenty of cocktails to choose from as well. If you’re not local-ish it’s definitely worth the drive at least once.”
“What an amazing visit we had. Pouring rain but no matter. We were well educated and kept in stitches by Aubrey. The man knows his stuff! Your wines are amazing and learning things about each one made them so much better. It was a wonderful birthday weekend visit for my wife and now we are left with the best memories. Thank you Aubrey and your wicked fun winery. We will be looking for you again one day!”
“GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT VALUE !!!We had lunch today. I ask if the chicken livers were good, the cashier told me they have them everyday because if they didn't her customers would be mad. Trust me when I say they didn't disappoint !!!I got chicken livers with rice and gravy, lima beans, and fried okra. My wife got hamburger steak with rice and gravy, lima beans and fried okra. The serving sizes are Large !!!Thanks to Chad and his crew for making our lunch todayMemorable !”
“Visited Mac's today and it was delicious as always! Had been telling my girlfriend how amazing the pork sandwich is and it did not disappoint! Been coming here for 10+ years and have never had a bad experience.”
“The ladies that work here or really good!! They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. The food is delicious I love the fact that they don't use a bunch of salt the biscuits are to die for.. I'll continue to support this business!!!! keep up the great work ”
“Cute little coffee shop. Not an extensive menu for beverages or snacks, but they have the staples, the staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for late-2023! The coffee shop is located in the back of Fireflies Gift Boutique, which is also worth a visit! You can get to the coffee shop through Fireflies or a separate entrance on the back right of the building. The restroom is located in between Fireflies and Lightnin' Bugs. The only "warning" of sorts -- one staff member was a little heavy-handed with her pumps in one our lattes, which made it a bit too sweet. They graciously helped us de-sweeten it, though!”
“Sunday buffet was delicious. The fried chicken was homemade like my father used to make. Veggies were delicious as well and banana pudding was awesome. Definitely will eat here again.”
“Bit of a wait, but the wings are a good size compared to others. Thanks for smiling ladies. You guys are so busy, especially on the weekends. Get them some help please!”
“The food was excellent and the staff was awesome! Kelly did a great job! We will definitely be back! We drove over from Pine Mountain and it well worth the drive!!!”
“Had breakfast, everything was great. Had the catfish plate several times, but the last one, one fish was fried so hard I might as well had a one piece. Most of the time the fish plate is great though.”
“When entering this establishment, you will be pleasantly greeted by the southern hospitality and a touch of rustic chic. At the main entrance, you see a modestly sized bar that is beautifully designed and handmade by one of the owners. The atmosphere is definitely a 5 Star. The staff are really polite and have the cutest uniforms (Realtree Camo) shirts. We came with a group of 7, a few of our guests handicapped, we needed a space for us all that was open and easy to get to. The staff accommodated our needs and promptly prepared a space for us. We were seated at our table by one of the Owners Melanie, she was very polite, with a big welcoming smile, and answered a few of our questions about the establishment. The food, the food, the food.....Wow! BBQ the right way, it is not slathered with some random in-house sauce. It comes to you the way it came out of the pit, ready for the sauce of your choosing. Moist, Smokey, and Soooooooo Tender. I got the brisket, the best I've had in years! When it comes time to pick sides, always go for the Peach Baked Beans. It's my first time at Doodlum's, and even I know that! 5 stars all the way around! If you happen to ride through this area, you have to stop by. You won't regret it. We sure didn't. Thanks for the amazing food and even better service!Parking: Front of store, No Commercial Trucks sign out front, but it seems it may be safe to park your rig across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: There is one accessible ramp to the right side of the front handicap parking spot.”
“Ethan was my server, he's fantastic! The Mexican restaurant is connected to blackbird Cafe, so everyone has choices. We had a little of everything. The chunky fried tomatoes are a must try. The hot wings are the perfect size, not huge but not tiny. I had mild, and I could feel a little heat. My son had grilled tenders and he said they were fantastic. My husband loved his street tacos.Parking: It's in town so parking is limited.”
“I thought the food was good. My friend had the biscuits and gravy, I had the pancakes, ham and eggs. We made the mistake of sitting at the bar for Sunday breakfast and the service wasn't as good as if we would have sat in the back room.”
“2 very nice ladies ran that great restaurant.Great southern cooking! Catfish, rice, greens and cornbread. As "good as grandma's. "Those nice women were hollering back and forth if "those guys needed anything? Great service plus Deseret right on time.Nice clean restaurant not too big, not to small.Great place to ear.”
