The food was alright, but seemed a little pricy for the quality. Some parts of the gyro plate tasted pretty good, but it all seemed like it was reheated in a microwave. The gyro meat itself was pretty bland and had a mushy texture, but everything else seemed well seasoned at least.
Had the pleasure of trying out Angelos this afternoon on lunch break from jury duty. It's a cozy establishment, with some nice decoration that gives the place it's own homey charm. I was approached by the owner/chef during my visit who thanked me for my business and spoke with me for a moment about the homeade marinara(which I loved!). Hidden gem! ? One of the best restaurants in griffin! The salads are huge and so fresh. I get the Greek salad and it comes with pita bread all the way around it! I absolutely love the food here. Pasta is wonderful too. Would highly recommend. It’s not very big inside but I order to go, a lot as well. Mr. Angelo is the sweetest and best cook around, for authentic Italian/greek food!
