I’ve come here about three times. I thought it was an ok business. Until today I was approached by the manager stating that she has noticed me all the times I came to tell me that the waitresses only make 2$ an hour…. So tips are appreciated. I pay for the service. Tips are always appreciated I know. But I didn’t know they were mandatory. It’s your employer’s job to pay you accordingly. If everyone just stopped showing up because they didn’t want to tip, they would be out of a job. I don’t know, it was rude. I was definitely uncomfortable and won’t be returning.

This has been one of our go to restaurants for years. Tonight we went and it was slow, we were there for 2 hours, poor service, inexperienced staff, food was cold. When I questioned I got an attitude from the waitress. One of the people in my party never got her salad. Everyone at the table had their food and I was told they were waiting on fries, when asked to at least bring my sandwich my entire meal arrived and the fries were cold. Apparently had been sitting in the kitchen the whole time. They were not that busy but most of the staff were upstairs in the bar area. This has never been an issue before but not sure we’ll be back to see if there is improvement. So disappointing.
Service was slow. Our server took forever to get us a drink if she remembers it. She forgot what we asked for several times and most what we were asking for was repetitive.
The food was great. The season shrimp is really good.

I have a buddy that plays music here periodically, and we always come down to support him. The food is excellent and the venue is unique enough to be super fun. They seem to be chronically understaffed, but the waitress we had last night was probably one of the hardest working people I've ever met. I would go back just for her.

Stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner while driving through griffin. The food was good and the staff was friendly. The building used to be a bank.
Was told my music from my phone was playing too loud for the bottom floor extremely rude. Trust me don’t ever go.
Good service n amazing food.
This was our “go to “, restaurant in town. The last few times we have gone the food has been cold. I had to ask for new fries and then was brought re cooked fries that were dark brown and hard. I am not sure what the change is and it has been bad when busy and slow. Last night not many people were there so I know there was ample time to cook food and deliver it out to the table hot. So disappointed! Please do better!
Bank Street Cafe is always a great place to eat. The food is excellent. Although I have never tried, I am not sure I will try it, the Tracey Fried Bologna sandwich. It just sounds wrong to me. Everything else is excellent, and I have tried it all.
The sweet potato tots are a must have.
The servers are always friendly and attentive.
The atmosphere is great as well. It is open enough that you can eat without feeling like the other patrons are sitting at your table. You can have a conversation without speaking loud.
Wide selection on the menu. They even have very good vegetarian options.
It is located in downtown Griffin. Lots of history. Can walk around the town after you eat.
Parking can be challenging. Drive around the block. I always find something on one side or the other.
Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian options. Portobello sandwich, Colliflower wrap, and others.
Parking: Plenty of parking, however, it is in the middle of town. Others are using the street parking. You may have to drive around the block to find a spot. I typically find a spot on either street on the first try.
