My wife and I were in Griffin and decided to stop in this restaurant for an early dinner. The place is very clean and the hospitality was also good. The service was very good and the food was great?, the prices are very good for the portions of food that you get. We had a tempura appetizer which was also good. It's a Japanese steakhouse so you have the option of the hibachi grill or a regular table, we choose the table but I still got a hibachi dish ? and still have left overs for lunch.

We come to the establishment often and have NEVER seen or been told that there is an automatic upcharge of 16% for 4 adults and 2 children. Be aware when you visit here because I paid tip on top of that because I didn't see anywhere that they took it upon themselves to charge a tip of 16%. I have heard of this for a party of 8 even 10 but 4 adults and 2 toddlers? Bad business. We won't be back.

Very disappointed. The food was not up to par. The server that brought us drinks was rude. The tea was very weak so my grand- daughter asked if she could get a Pepsi. He brought out Pepsi and instead of pouring the tea out of her glass (she still had some in it) he poured the Pepsi in the same glass. When we paid he jerked the folder with my credit card in it out of her hand. I couldn't believe how rude he was. We usually go to McDonough for hibachi but went to Griffin because it was closer. The person cooking was inexperienced and the food was rather bland. We we were not the only ones at that table that were disappointed. Needless to say we won't go back to that location but would rather drive the extra 30 min and go to McDonough. I spent $87.35 and if you hadn't already added a tip to my bill you wouldn't have gotten any.

Absolutely lovely intimate setting! The little old woman who served us was delightful, witty and funny. The food was delectable and we had so much leftover to bring home and have 2x more throughout the evening! If you're looking for a nice spot for a date or lunch together..try here. PS- the price was definitely pricing just right!

The hubby and I had sashimi and scallops, both of which were very good. The server was great and attentive. I was not a big fan of the salad dressing- it needed a lot more ginger. Aside from that, we would definitely return if we find ourselves in Griffin again.

We walked in Restaraunt and stood at front for 5 minutes and no one said a word to us so we left. We will not be back! We asked the ppl in front of us if they had been helped but they had not either.
Food was delicious, well prepared, hot & fast to the table. Service was spectacular, the atmosphere was great! My new favorite sushi & hibachi spot here in Griffin! Looking forward to my next visit!!

As soon as my family and I entered the building the host was speaking fast like he was rushing. We get seated and he brings a high chair for my Sonshine. The menus are placed on top of the plates we are eating on. Can you say germs? He takes our drink order and again still rushes. He wasn't relaxed. The cook comes out 15 minutes later and starts to cook but barely speaks English. The cook had a small amount of rice on the grill for one person, which was unacceptable. I asked for extra rice on the grill. The host brings out rice from the back, which is not the same. I told him I didn't want that. I want my rice cooked in front of me. He finally brought the plain rice out to put on the grill. Then when the cook puts the steak on my husband's plate a piece of the steak drops on the table. What did the cook do? He puts the steak on his plate. At this point, I just wanted to leave, because the food was horrible. The food was salty and tasteless. Today is my husband's birthday and I wanted today to be special for him. This experience was rushed from the beginning to the end. A waste of money And time.
