I want to be clear that this complaint is not directed at the server, the food and service was excellent and our server appeared to be doing her best under difficult circumstances. My concern is with management’s decision to allow an ill employee to continue working in a food service environment, which poses a risk to both customers and staff. The manager Ms.carrie confronted our table after we spoke to her and other tables have also spoke to her informing her that her server seems to be sick and shouldn’t work that day since it will be a safety and health concern , her response was simply “it is mandatory for employees to work during the holiday season”. A responsible manager wouldn’t require a server who has lost their voice and is clearly unwell to work especially in food service, and especially on a busy holiday like Christmas Eve. Losing your voice is often a sign of illness, and forcing someone to work in that condition isn’t good for the employee, the customers, or public health, no manager like that should not be running the store and has poor judgement of character and didn’t follow what most people would consider common-sense or industry-standard practices, coming from someone who has worked in the food industry for years!

Been to many IHOP locations and this one has by far exceeded all expectations of an IHOP. I typically expect slow service, incorrect orders, and somewhat disgruntled waiters - totally the opposite here. The speed of service is incredible even on a Saturday morning. Today I was serviced by Chastity and she was beyond phenomenal. Amazing service and frequent check ins to make sure we were taken care of. Great charm as well. The food came out promptly and correct. Can't complain about this IHOP. I think we found the one.

This place doesn’t have a lot going for it. Pretty much mundane in every sense. But it does shine when you need a quiet place to take a couple of people to talk at night. It’s like the old style diners that give you a feel of a calm and relaxed atmosphere. I’m a fan of not being crowded. And it excels in that department. Food is good enough with just a slight bit of issues with communication here and there. But nothing that can’t be fixed with the server. Overall I give it a 3/5 as there’s room to improve in terms of outdated look and menu. But when it comes to the atmosphere it’s superior to Waffle House.
