I have been eating at Louise’s for over 40 years- since it was in the tiny location across the street. It has always been so good and sentimental but this most recent visit was a big disappointment. The Mac and cheese was so cold, it seemed like it came straight from the fridge. We are moving out of state and I wasn’t sure if I would be back, and the fact that the food isn’t like it has always been softens the blow of never coming back.
I've heard stories about this place from many old timers in Griffin about how great it used to be, but I think those days are long gone. The food is not great and the place isn't kept up like it ought to be.
I love country cooking, especially a country breakfast. And Louise's in Griffin GA is the place to be for both (the seniors ALL YOU CAN EAT prices could be lowered a bit though) 😋
