Thursday nights they have free bingo with winners being given restaurant gift certificates that can be used that night or at a later day. It’s family-friendly and fun. The service is great-even when there is a crowd. The pulled pork can be a little dry if you get too much of the outside meat. The ribs are meaty, the BBQ nachos are delicious, and the brisket has a nice marble and is yummy.
Best Brunswick stew I've had since my grandmother passed away and the pulled pork sandwich melts in your mouth. Great food, great price, and very friendly staff...
Ever since Ankur took it over the level of service has grown through leaps and bounds. Foods great, atmosphere is awesome and there's not many places better for a great bbq lunch.
The food here is amazing! I am a judge with the Georgia BBQ Association and this is the best BBQ I have tasted. I highly recommend them, it is a must try. I am ready to go back for more already.
When I try a new restaurant I really don't know what to expect, so I hope for the best. I don't like going to popular restaurants because of the overcrowding and then you get bad service because they are so busy. I tried Smoq'd not knowing anything about them, somebody said they have good barbeque. They didn't lie. The food was good and fresh and the price was not over the top like most BBQ joints.I went on a Thursday and to my surprise they where playing bingo. So I joined right in. First time there I won $20 off of my meal. This place is a hidden gem. I started not to write a review thinking everyone and there cousin might start coming and then they'll be overcrowded. I Love this place.
Good but nothing to write home about. The sauce came out of bottle you can buy at the store. As did the baked beans.Almost forgot the Brunswick stew because it was forgettable. The pork was, well, automated smoker pork. The collards were good even though they did have sugar in them.A toasted bun was a nice touch though.
This company supports it's community! They just fed a few Hundred power linemen including myself working to restore power after the recent tornados. By far best Barbeque I have had in a long time. Thank you.
Sadly, this place is all show and no go. Beautiful atmosphere and great friendly service but the food was sub par for a 25$ plate of BBQ! For the ribs, you get 3 medium sized bones that were under smoked and way over cooked. Same goes for the brisket, it was dry, brittle and totally dried out on the ends. One thing that really concerned me was, ( how could brisket and ribs that over cooked have no smoke ring or smoke flavor??? ) seems like oven cooked BBQ to me but I can't prove that. All I know is that you only need 2-3 hours of smoke to get a good smoke ring on the meat and it was absent! Very disappointing for a place named Smoq'd BBQ.See pics to show the lack of smoke
It was ok. As far as sides go the potato wedges were a little bland and not very crispy, and the potato salad had a nice enough flavor, but I wish it were a little thicker. As far as mains go the brisket was also middle of the road. The flavor was that of a bland pot roast however it was nice and tender and the bark on the brisket was actually very good. The garlic pepper sausage was run of the mill for what it was. Not out of this world good but definitely not send it back to the kitchen bad either. My only other critique is that I wish the slices were more even. In total I had three slices of brisket of which one was normal, one was very thin and tapered off, and the last was very thick and hard to manage. Same could be said of the sausage with uneven slices down both pieces leading to overly thin and overly thick slices which were much more manageable since it was just sausage. All in all you get what you pay for.
We decided to give this place a try because it was across the street from the theater where our daughter was doing a musical. We were a group 10 and needed something delicious but somewhat quick. This place was superb! The food was amazing and had so much flavor. The portions were perfect size and you definitely got your money's worth. I felt bad for the waitress who was by herself tackling all the tables. She was a pro and never got frustrated. We can't wait to coke back as i can't stop thinking about the onion rings ?

I had brisket plate .. AwesomeCandace great service.
Food was really good. I got the BBQ pork plate with seasoned potato wedges, onion rings and Texas toast. I had enough food for 2 meals. There were a few things keeping me from giving it a 5 star rating. 1- The bathrooms were out of order. Apparently it's been that way for 2 days. 2-The Dr Pepper was out of carbonation and it was flat and gross and apparently they couldn't fix it. 3-They have cornbread that comes with the plates (you can get cornbread or Texas toast) but they don't offer it as a side or anything else. I wanted a basket of cornbread as an appetizer and they were able to make it happen which is great. I was very happy about that but disappointed about the cornbread. IDK what they used in their mix but it didn't taste that good. It was kind of spongey and they didn't bring any butter out with it. My husband got okra and Mac and cheese with his pork plate and it was very good. My very picky daughter ate all her Mac n cheese but was less thrilled with her grilled cheese. Besides that it was great. The service was excellent, the server was very nice and kept the drinks refilled. Hopefully they get the bathroom and drink machine fixed soon. I'd definitely eat here again. And there was a sign out front that said they're doing 75¢ wings from 6-8pm which is a good deal. We got there at 5 this time so maybe next time we'll get to try the wings.
The food took a while to get to the table and once it did arrive there were things missing. My brother never got his potato wedges until we said something when we were told they would bring us some. My nachos didn't come with jalapenos or sour cream like described on the menu. They didn't have any corn bread which isn't a big deal since they told us before hand. I just wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Kid-friendliness: I saw there were chicken strips on the menu and theres a kids selection for 12 and under.
Parking: You have to park in the parallel parking spots right in front.
I've heard mixed reviews about this place but wanted to try it anyway. We had a party of 12. There were maybe 4 other tables. Our waitress was new so she's gets a pass for being very friendly and trying very hard! There kitchen messed up a few things but in the end it was corrected. We ordered 1 of all the appetizers before dinner. All the food was very good!!!
I freaking love this place. The pulled pork on a toasted buttered bun is addictive. Onion rings are also the best ive ever had. I eat here at least twice a week. Make sure they toast your buns if you're getting take out
