Tropical Smoothie Cafe

My food was drenched in chipotle mayonnaise.For that reason I didn’t enjoy it. Customer service was good.

Everytime me and pappi come here, to tropical smoothie , to get smoothies, that feel tropical, the employees, do not appear, to be in a very tropical, mood. Leaves something, to be,
Desired.

What I think about Tropical Smoothie Cafe as a previous employee who has been terminated without any apparent reason. I just recently started working there a month ago, and I would say it's the most horrible, unprofessional, and toxic job I have had. I received an email after being told to clock out early because business was "Slow," but no, they told me a lie and then proceeded to send me an email saying...

"Despite multiple discussions, your performance has not met franchise standards, particularly with timely service and minimizing distractions. To maintain team efficiency, we are removing you from the schedule permanently, effective immediately."

We wish you well in the future.

And on top of that previous employees they have fired that I know of personally have been fired unfairly and when they would email the management team they would not respond.

The customer service has been good, and my orders have always been correct. My receipt is always correct.

My problem is with the product packaging. I would appreciate it if I could use a refillable cup. This location does not allow that. If I bring a clean cup with me, I should be able to get it filled for me.

My order was ready quick and the customer service was awesome. However my food was really really cold when I got it. I was highly dissatisfied.

Service is horrible. The kids have attitudes, everything is funny when my order is wrong. Smoothie and bowls are never consistent with viscosity or taste!

We went thru the drive thru at 6:05 on Sunday Sept 1, 2024 and tried to order our smoothies. The lady on the speaker was laughing and giggling the entire time and just told us to pull up. So we did and waited for about 7 mins and no one came to the window to get our money.
So my husband went in and there were 4 workers. Why didn’t anyone come to the window? They were too busy playing around. Another lady walked in behind my husband and they didn’t acknowledge the customer at all. Maybe management needs to come around more often and see what these people are doing. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with this location.
Clear the store and hire someone who appreciates having a job.

I walked in and wasn’t acknowledged from the beginning, which is fine I understand the food industry is busy. However I waiting so long for my smoothie that she had to add extra ice and blend it again..this essentially turned my smoothie into a flavored water smoothie…. Please do better

Initially when Tropical Cafe came to Grovetown GA off of Steiner Way, I was happy/excited. However, this particular Tropical Cafe is HORRIBLE. Over the last month, I have picked up my online order of 3 Açaí Bowls with 2 of the 3 to receive extra granola and extra honey. Each bowl received far less açaí in each bowl as compared to the others. When I complained, the employee told me it was the same amount of açaí in each bowl and the reason it looked different was bc of the way that each froze. Apparently she missed the class on freezing a liquid. Unbeknownst to her, I was previously told by an employee at this particular location that the açaí is frozen in each bowl ahead of time and the other ingredients added based upon the request of the order.
Yesterday I decided to try the Tropical Cafe in Grovetown GA again. I ordered an açaí bowl with extra granola and extra honey and I rcvd what appears to be an acai bowl minus the the AÇAÍ. See Photo #2. I am livid with this particular Tropical Cafe. I do not have these issues with any other Tropical Cafe in the CSRA! Why is it even necessary for me to drive to another location to receive what I ordered and paid for because the employees at the Tropical Cafe in Grovetown not competent, don’t care or whatever the case may be?! The Tropical Cafe needs an overhaul of management and staff. It is absolutely ridiculous! Drastic changes need to be made to this particular location bc currently, it is a big disappointment to this constantly thriving community…….??

I love the employees and the service is great but honestly , the managers and the people who run this company are absolutely horrible. If you ever try to get a job here I wouldn’t bother because they will set you up for an interview and completely ghost you. I waited 35 minutes for a zoom interview I never even got to start because I was stood up by the own company manager or whoever runs the place. It’s horribly unprofessional and just not okay to do to people. They claim to need so much help but don’t even want to hire people to do it…

Usually when I order a Watermelon Smoothie from the Tropical Smoothie Cafe located in Grovetown. The Smoothies are pretty smooth and delicious. Unfortunately; not this time, it was not Smooth it had a lot of chunks of ice and watermelon. Not too satisfying this time. Very disappointed.

Really half if the reviews are bad customer service so like depends on when you go.

My experience here was outstanding! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, but one employee who stood out was a boy named Haniah. As for my food, it came out very quick and it tasted great! I tried the Sunrise Sunset, and hummus veggie wrap. Overall, my expectations were exceeded by their great service and great food options . I will be returning soon!
