“Oh my god!! This was my first time ever visiting a bakery outside of Publix. I stopped in to grab a last minute cake for a birthday celebration. I settled on the red velvet. I am not a big sweets person but I do believe everyone should blow out candles 🎂 for their birthday. Anywho this cake was sooooooo good like omg. Not too sweet. The kids loved it! “My now husband and I had the most gorgeous wedding at the Hazlehurst House back in April and I cannot say enough how great the experience was! Holly and her team were so extremely helpful throughout the year-long process of planning the event - from food tastings to floral meetings, venue tours and tablescape planning, everyone was so involved in the best way and we felt very supported in all of our decisions regarding the event. The Hazlehurst team never made me feel like my ideas or requests were too big or too small and truly brought out wedding vision to life! The day of the wedding went so smoothly - I don't think a single thing truly went wrong! The grounds looked amazing, the gardens were in full bloom, the service from wait staff was great, and guests are still talking about how much they loved the food, cake, and cocktails! All of my outside vendors had great things to say about working with the venue and our guests truly loved the experience. They took great care of me and my bridal party and did everything they could to make the day as stress-free as possible! Being from McDonough, I'm so glad our city has a place like the Hazlehurst House for all of life's big moments. Thank you to the Hazlehurst House team for making our dream wedding a reality! I'd highly recommend them for any weddings or private events. :)“

“The food here is amazing . The people are so welcoming and the customer service is phenomenal! I came in with my boyfriend that stumbled across this gem and they did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and made just like grandma house . The people are so inviting the food is so tasty this definitely gave me all reasons to come back and highly recommend . They were able to make a simple Toy Story themed cake and cupcakes to match with literally 2 days notice!! EVERYONE complimented how tasty the cake and cupcakes were!!! “Saw Roxie’s Cookies in Fayetteville at a fair. I had no they were vegan cookies when offered a free sample. I tried the caramel oatmeal cookie and it was by far one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. I referred to them as “violently flavorful” as I immediately bought some for myself. This is a must try and I can’t wait to see them again.“
