“Me and my wife stopped by this Fado's to grab some lunch on a Saturday. We were craving a glass of Guinness, and this place was perfect for it, so we ended up getting lunch too. We got some buffalo wings to start with. They were really good! It was nice and hot too (temperature wise and flavor wise.) They were literally steaming for a good 5 minutes after our server brought them. My wife got the blackened chicken salad wrap with fries for her main, and I got the fish and chips lunch portion. Both tasted INCREDIBLE. Her wrap was really good, I had a few bites. It was packed with toppings and the chicken tasted really good. My fish and chips were GREAT. I got the lunch portion, which comes with one piece of fish, but the dinner portion comes with two I believe. I didn't realize it was only one piece for the lunch portion, otherwise I would've gotten the dinner portion...I was hungry!! The fries we both got were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I got some BBQ sauce to dip my fries into. I also doused my fish and chips with vinegar...you got to to do it that way! Our glasses of Guinness were fresh and poured really nicely too. They were also nice and cold! Our server was really friendly too and was always checking on us. We really enjoyed ourselves, and we'll definitely be back! We have been to this location a few times, and also the one in Buckhead. We have been to the Buckhead one more, as we used to live right in Buckhead, not too far from that location.“

“Good drinks and service. Their fish and chips was overcooked, hard, and unseasoned. Fries seems like something that should be hard to make bad, but their fries were bad. It was like they hadn't changed to oil in a long time. The service was great though and I liked their drinks. The atmosphere was fine, but there really wasn't much to make me think I was in an Irish pub.“

“Well… We were looking for a to-go meal and wanted something close by. As our search went, we came across this Irish Pub, as the name it was under. Looked at the menu and wife saw Pork chops, and some other sides that sounded like a winner.

So, I went to this place, located in Rex, at the Creekside Village shopping center, next to Food Depot.

Turns out that the name was changed to Urban Pub Bar and Grill. I remember seeing it once before and the place was packed in the evening hours. Parking isn’t an issue due to the shopping center lot, so no worries there.

Went in and it is a decent size place. The menu has changed just a bit since it was bought by another party. Still though, we could get most of what I saw of the menu online. Opted for the fried pork chop meal, added a side of fried okra, cabbage, greens and mac n cheese. It comes with 2 sides already with the meal. That was the cabbage and greens. Also added an extra chop too, it comes with just one.

The chops were seasoned just right, and the crunch was tops, and still moist inside. Someone knows how to cook back in that kitchen… The greens were spicy and excellent, and the cabbage was on point too. There was a piece of smoked meat in it and it was tasty… Then the mac n cheese, it was creamy and had a slight crust on top, tasted a few types of cheese in it, I thought one was Smoked Gouda, though I didn’t ask. The okra was also fried just right, crunchy and tender. Overall, it was a hit.

Lunch specials are advertised in the bar but was told that one or more may change soon.

It has a Stage, and pool table area (maybe 4 total), as well as some digital slots in the same area. A juke box too.

A main bar as you enter and plenty of seating. The have bands and Karaoke on certain days too. Car shows they host as well.

I went during the afternoon, so it wasn’t busy at all, but nights seem to be the party time. If the food is this good, then I can be assured that the rest of the menu items are more likely to be a hit.

We’ll be back for those Ribs, wings and fish meals I’ve been peepin…

Parking: Located in a shopping center, plenty of spaces.“
