You’ll officially be sucked in for life 😂 My family reserved thanksgiving meal this year for our family and it could not have been a better experience! The place is bursting with southern hospitality, the staff is all amazing and kind to you. Each dish was top notch and full of flavor! We could not have picked a better place for our family! You can definitely tell family and staff at the acorn operate with love!”

“I've never had an issue with the food. It's fresh and made-to-order. However, I placed an online order that was not prepared until AFTER my arrival. The app stated my order was READY! I had to wait an additional 20 minutes after the app's stated time (not an exaggeration) for my order. I take issue with that because the staff (two members) completed orders of people in the store. Why couldn't one take care of them while the other completed online orders? I must mention that another online customer was there before me, waiting on HIS order. Just bad service this time around, which (I must admit) is not the norm - BUT I am upset and feel this needs to be addressed.

Update: The online ordering process has improved greatly at this location.”

“Not only did they make ordering online super easy, but it was super affordable! Whipped Creamery came highly recommended! And they took all the details I put into the web form and brought it to life on the ice cream cake and my little girl absolutely loved it! The flavor and taste was sooooo good! Was so nostalgic and reminded me of ice cream cakes growing up. The ice cream was so smooth and soft and reminds you of homemade ice cream. Definitely recommend!”

“Went there today with my husband for the first time and we really enjoyed it! The Philly cheesesteak combo was soo good and filling. It came with the cheese steak, fries, 5 wings, and a drink. The cheese was melted to perfection. The fries were seasoned and crispy. We got hot garlic parm and that was good as well. The owner was really nice and sweet! Excellent customer service. Will definitely be back.”

“Great little Tex Mex restaurant in the heart of Grovetown. But they also have authentic dishes like street tacos on corn tortillas and Birria queso tacos. Just ask for the more authentic Menu. Prices are very reasonable and the people are friendly. Definitely a neighborhood hangout. Draws in a lot of people from base. They also have karaoke on Friday nights and a massive burrito challenge called The Mike G. Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in this area.”

“Very very good! Visiting from NC for a wedding. Googled restaurants and this place came up. Checked the reviews. Just like they said. Fantastic! Very impressed by this little gem in the strip center. Server was great too. Suggested the garlic knots. Have left overs for breakfast so I was full. Met the owner and he gave us garlic knots to take home. Thank you guys for adding to our great visit to Grovetown! Told my family that was on honeymoon. They said “oh ya, they are good””

“Multiple television screens with an enthusiastic crowd watch Georgia and Alabama battle for bragging rights across the gridiron. There were comments where I could not hear myself think as the ruckus went out of control as a Georgia player intercepted a carelessly thrown pass. The food never fails to be hot and delicious. I devoured the smokehouse burger with fries while my Wife enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. We went for the simple palate pleasers even though Doc's offers a wide range of delectable morsals to soothe the taste buds of some of the most finicky eaters this community offers. And yeah, you wanna drink, yes, do so until you need an Uber of Lyft, don't say I didn't tell you to call a friend or bring a designated driver. The wait staff is energetic and adds to the venue's casual decorum. Take cash unless you like paying extra for using your credit cards. Our server was Savannah, she was certainly earning her tips and I don't think she was chilly despite the shorty shorts she was sporting as I think many eyes were enjoying the view when they weren't focused on the game.”

“Great food and great service and friendly staff. Ate there this morning and had a great waitress. Saw something that bothered me while there today there was a man and woman who were at a table in front of me. After eating their meals the man laid a five dollar bill on the table for a tip and went to pay the bill. The lady at the table reached over and took the five dollar bill and put it in her pocketbook. That was totally foul on her part. To the lady who took that five dollar bill you know who you are!!!”
