I really don’t understand all the hate this place has been getting. My husband and I went to Backstreet BBQ and ordered a brisket plate, and it was absolutely fabulous. The brisket was tender, flavorful, and clearly fresh. The staff was just as great—super friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Stopped in here while passing through town. Bbq was good, simple menu and food. Sauces were great, especially the mustard based! The Brunswick stew needs some help though… I’ve never had thin soupy textureless “stew” such as that… otherwise, staff was super friendly, prices were reasonable, overall a decent experience!
