Horrible service. Waited forever to waiter to greet us. It was obvious he didn't want to be there. If thats the case then he should get a job doing something other than customer service they work. Word to the wise. Go elsewhere. Taco Bell would be much better than El Parian.

This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Hartwell. You are always warmly greeted when you walk in the door. The employees all work together in order to ensure great service. The food is consistently great and the portion size is large. The margaritas are also awesome. What more could you want from a Mexican restaurant?They've also recently added some beautiful painted murals to the walls. There are plenty of booths and tables both in the dining room and in the bar area. They also have a room at the back for a larger group. Come in. You'll be glad you did.

A plate of whipped cream in a patron's face is NOT acceptable. Manager said it was standard practice at ALL Mexican restaurants. Not the case. Our birthday gal was not happy.

The food was okay. It really just depends on what you get. I got nachos fajitas which as petty good. I wasn't a super fan of the flavor of the onions. They just tasted, like different? My friend with me said her burrito was the absolute worst. Another friend had a bacon burger, and the bacon pieces were unevenly cooked. Like one slice was floppy and chewy while the other was burnt. Took the bacon off and it was fine. The kids meals were actually pretty decent compared to a lot of other Mexican restaurants. Of course your average burgers and chicken with fries. Chips and dip were pretty good. Their cheese was just melted cheese though. I don't think they spiced it. But cheese is delicious so...We had an okay time. We live in Elberton so was it worth the drive to Hartwell? No. La Fogata, in elberton, is definitely my pick of the 2. If you go here, you'll atleast be fed.

This was the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The staff are very attentive and nice. Meals were fresh and cooked perfectly. Even the Spanish rice was delicious - which is usually pretty bland.Plenty of parking, Family and large group friendly.I'd definitely recommend this place and go back.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and kids menu.
