To the lazy ladies working today Dec 26th 2024. Thank you for the old chicken you given me in my 12 piece non-customizable order. You can tell pieces of chicken have been sitting for a while. Hard and tough and dry. Good job. I'm surprised they even hired people with your work ethic. I'll be back soon and will let you when when I come back.

Edited: Wow. I've just read all the reviews lol I received small pieces of chicken thighs too like how people are saying in their review. They are cutting the chicken before frying and then eating the peices they cut off. I got to the Popeyes in Athens all the time and never an issue. I feel sorry for this place and it's owners because the people who work here won't go far in life. They won't make your business successful. Keep going and soon you'll be closed down like the other restaurants down the road from you.

Pulled up at 8pm Sunday to order a family meal and they was mad about the order. Horrible attitude.

Wanted some chicken wings tonight so my wife and I decided to Go to Popeyes (Hartwell Ga.) we live in South Carolina not too far from Hartwell …. So we pull up to the drive thru and was greeted with a …. And I quote ” Ughhh If you are here for chicken it will be 15 or 20 minutes” end quote…. So I ask what is there other than chicken again I quote
“are you serious “ end quote….. this lady obviously obviously hates her job and needs to quit and move on to something other than food service. What I truly wanted to call her (but didn’t) we just drove off and went to
Guthrie‘s right up the road !! We should’ve went there in the first place!!!! If you’re gonna be rude, stay away from customer service!!!!!! This location definitely lost us as customers… we 100% will not be going back

Not sure if this location is going out of business or something else is going on, but several times we have gotten home with our order and found out that instead of the chicken breasts we paid for we received small thighs instead. It's hard to believe they can't tell the difference at the store and after this happened once again we finally drove all the way back there the next evening after work only be told that they can't help us even though we had the receipt. The employee said that means they were out of chicken breasts but shouldn't they tell the customer and return their money to them? It seems like intentional theft but of course there is no way to really know what is going on. They also advertise items then mysteriously never seem to have them available.

I ordered boneless chicken tenders and they said they were out so I said give me mild bone in chicken. I drove to the window and they said they did not have a regular bone in chicken only spicy and their oven was broken so no biscuits. My last time giving my $$$ to them.

Ordered a late dinner for the family around 9:30 pm. They had all of the parking lot lights off and the sign off so I thought they were closed at first. Got pulled up at the window which is understandable because it was a sizable order. The lady, i don’t know if she was the manger or just a crew member or what, came out with a rude attitude and said they couldn’t cook my 3 piece chicken tenders because it was already 9:30, even thought they close at 11. So she said I can have the spicy tenders or something else and while I was discussing it with my wife, the lady went back inside. When she came back out I asked if I can just have 2 chicken breasts instead of the 3 tenders and she said no and said that I would have to get the spicy tenders or nothing. I asked for a refund for the 3 price since I paid with the app and she said use the app for the refund. She went back in and got the rest of our food and said have a nice day. My wife had to go back inside because they forgot our drinks. And then when I got home I realized that they had forgotten some sides too but it was too late to care. Overall, it was the worst experience with Popeyes that I’ve ever had and I won’t be going back to this particular one, especially during their night shift.

Going into the situation was horrible took 2 people to count change and 10 minutes then when we finally got our food we were missing food and they wanted to say I put it in there I know we gave it to you then come to find out they had another bag they had never given us after telling me I was wrong when they didn’t give me everything to begin with

We normally love Popeyes and will go out of way to eat at Popeyes. We went at lunch time. They had no wings and they didn't have chicken ready. They had no napkins. The chicken was very fatty. It was so cold in the building that my Husband had to get a blanket out of the car, very uncomfortable. I will say the staff was very friendly. But unfortunately this location is a bad representation of Popeyes Chicken.

I’ve been to Popeyes several times now and never have a great experience. The employees are constantly outside the building and are not very friendly. Sometimes we get decent meals. My main concern is with the cleanliness of the building. Both times I’ve been I’ve found BLACK MOLD floating in my drinks. I’m very disappointed with this place because it has great potential but BAD management and employees. There’s a reason this place stays empty.

Most of the employees that work there are super rude. They don't care.
About the service that they give the food is either overcooked. Or sitting out for a very long time. The people that work in there seem as though they absolutely hate their job and if they do I don't care, it's not my problem. If you don't like your fast food job, then quit. I swear they are a bunch of rude ignorant unstable creatures. Close this place down

This Popeyes had the best spicy chicken. I love alot of crunchy breading and they didn't disappoint. The chicken was also fresh and juicy.
