We went to the Hartwell Waffle House at 7pm on Thursday Nov 21st. It was full so we waited for a seat. While waiting we noticed no one was cooking, some had food and some did not. After several minutes a guy walks in and gets instructions from the waitress and begins cooking. Eventually a table was cleared and we were seated. While the cook was cooking, our order was taken and drinks were brought. After the cook finished the order he was working on, he disappeared. After several minutes the table behind us noticed we were looking around for the cook, they commented that it took an hour for them to get their food. We waited a few more minutes and still no cook. We went to the counter paid for our drinks and I mentioned to the waitress that the cook disappeared. The said yes, he disappears alot. We went to the fully staffed Huddle House down the road. We have been to this Waffle house several times, our previous experiences were very good. This review is only to make management aware of this specific Cook that is costing you business.

Understand the storm had put stress and the staff was wonderful at best BUT food sucked..
1st time at our new waffle house.. very clean.. friendly staff.. Quick service orders accurate and tasty! A lil pricey for breakfast.. but we havnt been out in a while

Am not sure what is going on in this Waffle House but the hamburger patties taste like plant based soil meat. The burger was so nasty I could not take more than the one bite I had. Then before I could even finish my hash browns we were being watched over by an employee waiting to clean the table. Standing over us while we are trying to finish eating. I swear as soon as I put my fork down they went to cleaning the table. It was super bust but the food was nasty and we were rushed all the way from beginning to end. No need to be rude and rush Customers.

If there was a zero star, I definitely would put it .The food was very nasty the sausage was not done. The bacon was not cooked right the toast was cold and also we had a burnt waffle.i will Not be back for sure. 40.00 in the trash family didn't eat the food.
